Is Timurs Lash worth it?
I just wanted to know if it is worth playing IB for?

Yes, if you get the right perks re-rolled, otherwise no. So basically, do you have enough motes to burn on rerolls?

2 RepliesYes reroll for field scout and increased stability. Got a Efrideets spear with Spray and Play (increased reload when empty, 3 mag) Air Piercing Rounds (shoot through walls) and Final Round (last bullet does bonus damage, meaning you can potentially one shot someone.

It's the highest impact primary weapon with the option to reroll the perks to suit your tastes. Doesn't really get better tbh

Check mine out. Bought two, used 120 motes to get great stats. These are perfect for me. 1906 crits buffed to 2192 with crowd control. DEFINITELY WORTH IT

5 RepliesIf you like high impact and low rate of fire that's what Timurs is all about. Reroll perks to offset small magazine and slow reload and / or to buff damage. It's a beast.

Burnt THREE of them. Two of them didn't even make energy. 300 max damage with similar perks. Wish they had reforge back then. The new ones ain't Fatebringer, but at least you can reroll for the perks.

I'm grinding like mad to get it. Rank 3 and a half now and looking forward to adding it to my collection. It's impact is awesome and fire rate isn't an issue if you use hand canons properly. I mainly want it for my collection. I'll only be missing 2 of the current legendary hand canons then :)

It's not for everyone. If you're the "I will spray bullets everywhere and hopefully I'll hit something" kind of player, then no, stay away from it. If you're a calm and strategic player that takes a moment to plan your attack... Then you should have purchased it yesterday because you'll love it!

12 RepliesI have one with luck in the chamber. Together with the Hawkmoon they are the only ones that can 2 shot in crucible. So i think it has its place. Not as good as Hawkmoon but it doesn't use an exotic slot.

8 RepliesAnyone who says it's not a good hand cannon is either trash with handcannons, didn't max it put or just had bad perks. I had a couple 300 timurs all with perfect balance and some sort of ammo perks. My fav had perfect balance and a 9 round clip. Timurs lash has more damage then any cannon in the game so plus perfect balance also gave it the best stability of any handcannon

Timurs Lash is a legendary Thorn without the poison and slower rate of fire. What I mean is, Timurs Lash does as much damage (slightly less technically) as thorn + what the poison effect would do. It's only drawback is slower fire rate. It's has lots of impact. If you get field scout and outlaw rerolling I'd use it.

A lot of people say fate bringer is better, and I think it is in PvE, (yes you may kill a guy in a group in control once in a while to make firefly worth, but not quite often I think) but timur's lash with the right perks can be a beast in PvP. So it depends what you want it for.

No, its not. I got two of those last IronBanner and dismantled them. You trade fire rate, stability and ammo for impact.

2 RepliesIMO timur's lash is the best hand cannon in the game(short of hawkmoon). with it's superior impact, and i even think they upped the impact for the v2.0, and the ability to reroll the perks to your heart's content, it makes it an amazing weapon. it has the highest impact in the game for legendary hand cannons. however i will say that the fatebringer is a true workhorse of a cannon. i have one on every character and it is my go to gun.

I have the original maxed out, great Handcannon. Currently grinding to Rank 5 to get the 331 version, but last night I got The Last Word from a Roc Strike... :)
