1100 hours played NO gjallarhorn WTF!!!
I do all nightfalls, weekly and raids. I have even farmed for hours. I have 3 characters cryptarch levels are 65,20 and 15. Then you have player who have 3-5 gjallarhorns and have played the game less than 200 hours. I have every exotic weapon you can get for XBOX except the gjallarhorn. If you don't want players to have a rocket launch so effective thats fine, but don't have this rocket launcher be the only one in the game with wolfpack rounds.
I like the replies good and bad. For the people that say I have no life 13 years in the military is my life. What do you do for your country?

People are just going to be dicks man, most these people are children and the other majority is bitter fathers. Just ignore the people who want to stir shit it's literally all they live for. And I feel you!! I have half your time played and I haven't gotten it but -blam!- man, it's around the corner! So your saying in the 4 months or roughly 120 days you have played 45 of them. About 40% of the available time. Hard to believe. If true when do you sleep, eat, work, shower, grocery shop or all the other things required of an adult. If you are a kid. When do you attend school. I couldn't get past the amount of time to read more. Sorry just seems impossible

3 RepliesYou may have played a lot of hours but you missed out on 48 very important hours of this game, aka the weekend Xur sold it. I would have also thought somebody that has spent 13 years in the military would be more mature than to cry on a gaming forum about not receiving a weapon. You are giving all Active Duty and Veterans that served their country a bad name. You should be ashamed of yourself.

1100 hours ?!? That's an average of 8.8 hours per day EVERY DAY since Destiny released 125 days ago!!! Wow... that puts my 400 odd hours to shame, and I thought I was addicted :P Anyway, I do have 2 gjallarhorns but alas no Hawkmoon. That's just the way this game rolls dude. It's like it randomly picks one exotic weapon you will never get so you keep playing in the hope of getting it. Bungie has well and truly worked out the carrot on a stick formula for this game.

Hunger of Crota and Dragon's Breath are great rocket launchers, so why not use them until you get it? Try to do lots of Roc strikes. I concentrated on them for a few days, decrypted about 8 legendary heavy engrams that amounted to nothing special and then gjallarhorn dropped on the Crota raid just after. I think you just have to keep spinning the RNG so to speak if you are struggling to get a weapon you want.

A gjallarhorn is basically just a normal rocket launcher!! That explodes with about 10 more Wolfpack missile that come from the explosion and track all enemies around that area

Run the vault of glass ;).. I have completed that two days on my hunter one day, my warlock the other... Both times I have seen the Gjallarhorn drop from the exotic chest, and then Atheon! Seriously I was thinking to myself last week why did I see Gjallarhorn drop so much when I first started playing, but hardly see it drop anymore... Then it clicked I was doing the VoG raids!! If that's what you're doing also and you ain't seen one yet... Well, sorry dude
