The thing about the levels before the dlc, was that at least when someone was 28, they had grinded or worked their way to that point. If some were carried there, sure, it was likely rare. It was different than now. As such, most of the random pugs were semi playable for nightfalls and raids. They had no expectations of being cheesed or carried into ez mode level gear like half the players expect. At the expense of those who know what they are doing. Now, so many people have cheesed their way into the 30s that even 'high' level players often have no idea what they are doing. They don't know when to shut up and keep the mic clear for the raid leader to give timing cues. They chat and frankly have this expectation that the group is there to easy roll them their weekly gear. At least when doing vault on hard mode, it is still a challenge. You can't "easy" roll it. I laugh at the people who can't even get one relic run done but yet they have 3 crota pieces.The fight is easier to do now, but its not like a 10 minute loot collection. The mentality of the vault and the players doing it were in it for the long haul. I have seen so many high levels bringing un upgraded weapons or watching them blast murmur to hit oracles from a distance. This is why the Atheon weapons still mean something and people with the crota emblem have less of an accomplishment. I still laugh when the raid people ask who has an ice breaker or other raid weapons and the players are like "whaaaa?!" The thing that has changed the most though is the mentality. The Vault players knew it was a hard fight and would buckle down to solve it. Now all the players feel like over priced football players who all act like they are super bowl champs. I really hope the prison of elders or whatever it will be goes back to those 'expectations'. I miss the old player psychology What ruined the game is giving people Vault weapons outside of the Vault. Ugh.

Yep. I got a feeling that 32's won't be too rare for very much longer. I remember when 30's were gods among men. You now have like an 80% chance of getting some kind of armor drop for every checkpoint you get in Crotas end. Its rediculous. Its way too easy. They need to cut back the likelihood of getting armor or 32's will start flooding. As much as I hate to say it, I got pissed so much in the VoG because I couldn't get a chest piece or a helmet. Now they're practically handing them out. And raid helmets on normal?! Are you insane? Especially with the cheese, its incredibly easy to obtain 32 now. I want people to look at max level characters and say "holy shit, that's some dedication". Not " oh, a 32"
