1 ReplyDuring HoW, doing VoG and I opened the spirit bloom chest on the way to the exotic chest. This noob starts freaking out, claiming no one will get an exotic because of me, begging the fireteam leader to kick me, and seriously suggesting they start the raid over or they won't have a chance at an exotic. I pulled a gjallarhorn out of the chest. Shut him up for the rest of the raid. [spoiler]I also dismantled it in front of everyone. I already had 3.[/spoiler]

3 RepliesDuring VoG, I had a pair of titans bragging about how Gjallarhorn was so amazing and that they were better than everyone who wasn't using it. I called them out for using it as a crutch and they set out to prove me wrong by using another rocket launcher for the rest of the run. They proceeded to repeatedly die to the Templar and Aethon, enough to cause routine wipes. Finally, the leader had enough of them and told them to learn to play before kicking them from the fireteam. Moral of the story: don't talk trash about how a weapon makes you better unless you can back that up with action.

1 ReplyAnother moment for me was we were doing the oryx raid(normal mode) and there was one guy who claimed he knew what to do and how to do this raid. After what felt like a billion tries we were trying to figure out what kept going wrong, my boyfriend asks if everyone is getting their bomb, the guy chimes in and says "yeah I'm shooting my blight..." There was a moment of silence where you could literally hear the facepalms of everyone else

5 RepliesI was doing Oryx a few weeks back and someone was explaining the mechanics to some noob and he said you have to kill all the adds first...to which the noob replies "what's adds" we said huh and he said "what's an adds" At this point I pulled out my ghost and returned to orbit.

Oryx normal. These two lfg guys say they know the mechanics, so we get to weavers, and two go left, I stay mid with friend to kill accolytes, and I look over at the two lfg's standing on the aura spawn saying "we are on the plate, why are we dying?".
