Too funny, Xur has now pay wall blocked non DLC players
I laugh in the face of Bungie for the utter absurdity of their attempts to force players to buy the DLC. I laugh even harder at the fanboys that run the sheep mentality of it is only $20 buy it.
I, myself, refuse to pay more than the original $60 since I see this "game", and I use the term loosely, for what it is, nothing more than a money sponge to rob players. Bungie has shown no loyalty to players and has proven to be nothing but a liability to consumers. I know you kids know everything, even though you have never really been out into the real world, and the die hard fanboys will come by to troll, but here is something to think about. If they are going to keep the Destiny servers running when Destiny 2 comes out I will be greatly surprised. That means since this is an online only game you will have wasted around $100 dollars or more. After all the new EULA Bungie claims the right to limit, suspend, or remove services. I know this means nothing to kids that get their money from mommy and daddy, and that is why you are catered too. Bungie is avoiding strength, adult gamers with knowledge and experience as consumers, and attacking weakness, kids that don't know any better.
The absurdly of this trash, and complete con, robbery, theft, fraud, shanghai, bamboozle, hoodwink, and bush whack is too funny, but it does for me what I intended it to do and provides my break from real FPS games.
Now we will hear from the fanboys please give me your tears of ignorance.

I agree with everything you say. The cynicism made me angry too and stopped me buying the dlc before Christmas. But then I thought about it and decided that I wasn't going to let a few unpleasant, greedy sleazebags spoil my fun. I love playing Destiny so decided to buy the DLC a couple of days ago and I'm having a lot of fun trying to solo the raid. Blocking out non-DLC owners is a cheap scumbag move made by cheap scumbags. However, my thinking is they know that's what they are and for me that is enough.

Most games like this have monthly fees to compensate the constant maintenance and upkeep required. I'm fine with paying $20 every few months for some new content and continued improvement.

You could scream fan boy but your wrong I disagree with alot about this game but you cry about 3 missions a strike and a raid..ps..2 strikes. For a low 20$ but you don't cry when cod type games give you less for that price or more then that price..btw a hint genius all game dlc content whether it be cod destiny or wat ever game you own has dlc programed into it all you download are license rights and the other half of the bridge content to complete said program. So stay mad it's not being shafted one bit. And btw as far as I know none dlc users still get access to exotics dick weed.

I have bought the DLC and I really couldn't care less if non DLC owners buy dragons breath. It doesn't affect me in any way.

I'm only paying for DLC only because there isnt much else out there that can hold me. Now when The Division drops then Destiny isnt going to have some problems. (Not including Destiny 2)

I don't like a lot of things about the game but I still play the game because I knew in the back of my head what to expect from an MMO on the console. And I'm not going to be that ignorant hypocrite like you who plays the game but talks like its a POS, acting like you are going to quit yet you still play it. If you were a "mature adult gamer with knowledge as a consumer" like you claim you are, you wouldn't of made this wall of text about your rant of not being able to afford a DLC that obviously would of been a huge factor to your gaming experience for this game. Considering the play time is as long as halo to complete there has been no robbing, if you refer to other mmo platforms most released only expansions at full cost, sure the dlc content should have been in game but hey 20 quid is nothing, I've experienced much worse with other companies producing mmo games where beta has been live release for a year or more before it could be considered release ready, it works , I don't botch about it, I enjoy it, and its given me the play time equal to other fps games for same price at its base cost, greedy for more free content then buy a pc of and play free to play wank

At what point did your rant address your title of the post? You never once mentioned xur or the alleged pay wall block. So far as I can tell, non-dlc users can still access xur, they just won't be able to farm coins from the heroics this week...

I wish bungie would have just left the non dlc player what they had. Let them keep the lv 28 nightfall,heroic and daily. But I also think they should not get 2.0 version of their old guns or new light level Vanguard that gets them to 31.

I will hold back with baited breath and see if the future dlc actually offers more than the recent dlc has, tbh I was very let down and stung hard. Love the game but just feel chains wrapped round me every time I play it
