I laugh in the face of Bungie for the utter absurdity of their attempts to force players to buy the DLC. I laugh even harder at the fanboys that run the sheep mentality of it is only $20 buy it.
I, myself, refuse to pay more than the original $60 since I see this "game", and I use the term loosely, for what it is, nothing more than a money sponge to rob players. Bungie has shown no loyalty to players and has proven to be nothing but a liability to consumers. I know you kids know everything, even though you have never really been out into the real world, and the die hard fanboys will come by to troll, but here is something to think about. If they are going to keep the Destiny servers running when Destiny 2 comes out I will be greatly surprised. That means since this is an online only game you will have wasted around $100 dollars or more. After all the new EULA Bungie claims the right to limit, suspend, or remove services. I know this means nothing to kids that get their money from mommy and daddy, and that is why you are catered too. Bungie is avoiding strength, adult gamers with knowledge and experience as consumers, and attacking weakness, kids that don't know any better.
The absurdly of this trash, and complete con, robbery, theft, fraud, shanghai, bamboozle, hoodwink, and bush whack is too funny, but it does for me what I intended it to do and provides my break from real FPS games.
Now we will hear from the fanboys please give me your tears of ignorance.

5 RepliesAnother thing, if you've been playing this long on just vanilla Destiny, why wouldn't you buy the DLC? You obviously like the game and most people who still play ever since release would have the DLC now. I may sound like a fanboy for saying this, but I really think that House of Wolves DLC will improve the game since it is still in development and could be changed up based on feedback.
-
I think you should realize that people got the season pass before it came out expecting much more out of the DLC.
-
5 RepliesYou've damn near played this game to a proverbial nub with just under 400 hours, you can call bungie whatever you wish but you like the game. So why not put an extra 35 into it and have more fun? "but bungie is conning us with pay walls and cut content" You're going to keep playing. So you either play the same content or new content, suck it up and buy it.
-
U refuse to pay more money? Then your not getting xurs weekly gifts. Lmao.
-
Honestly dude just completely give up on Destiny nothing will change let the fan boys have this steaming pile of crap as they continue to suck up to this shell of a once decent company.

You are so right, Bungie should just treat everyone as though they didn't buy the DLC. Because paying extra for something shouldn't matter. This is the same type of argument feminists (the extreme ones not the normal ones) use to justify higher pay. It has no basis, you want to be treated equally but you don't want to put in the same effort (in this case money). Oh jeez 22 weeks straight Xur brought stuff everyone could buy. Oh but for this one weekend DLC stuff only, better throw a fit because this is totally unfair. -Deep breath- Anyway, I paid my money, let me enjoy my content.

Tbh I've played this game for more hours than any other fps ever. I can talk smack about it all I want but I will be hypocrite if I do. It doesn't stop me from throwing my controller across the room when I die in the nightfall though. Lol

1 ReplyNo one cares about anyone and money rules all. The end.
-
3 RepliesYup, this is the last straw. Buying Dragon Age Inquisition and never looking back.
-
I'm with you on this 100%. However I would gladly buy the other seat if the game was the Wizard has it was advertised in the first place. I would also buy the DLC if Bungie explained as to why it does not have a storyline.
-
This video does a bang up job on showing people how Destiny was ruined.
-
If it means anything, none of the items being sold are any good at all.
-
So people without dlc can't buy dragons breath yeah?
-
3 RepliesI feel sorry for you, not because you have a problem but because you're right. Xur, the nightfall, weekly have all been a part of the original game. And even though I bought the dlc I couldn't quite understand why they made the nightfall dlc, knowing full well there customers that didn't buy dlc wouldn't get a chance to play it. I think they should have made an additional nightfall\ xur for dlc as it's unfair to the people who bought the game without the dlc

4 Repliesamazing tis guy has created todays most controversial post with a 144 something comments and top of the trending page. the best part is reading through half of these comments its just insults and yelling with "fanboys" (claim not to be but get angry as soon as someone bashes there game) people who are "fed up" with this game (even though they take the time to scan the forums and comment) its crazy! no body is helping anybody anymore this section is called feedback, feedback for the developers to make the game better so the "fanboys" can help the game and the "fed up" people might find something they like. so wanna whine and complain about something that has nothing to do with feedback to the developers go take it to reddit or something and let those of us who wanna help this game help it.

2 RepliesEdited by TheMattGraham: 1/2/2015 10:09:58 PMI've bought the retail release disk and digital expansion. Was about $100 and I've played almost 200 hours... Going to see a movie at a theatre IMAX 3D, $20 for a 2 hour movie... Destiny approx= $.50/hr and continuing Movie= $10/hr finished Do I think this game is perfect? NO, not even close. Is it fun? HELL YES! Edit: Should the weekly/nightfall etc be blocked behind DLC? FÜCK NO!

3 RepliesI watch my nephew waste so much money on FIFA packs. It breaks my heart to see the new generation of gamers so compliant with the E.T. Quality of games that are being released. I did, however buy the season pass expecting the core game to be similar to other MMOs/online only titles is size and scope. I thought the DLC would be comparable to other expansions I have previously bought. Companies are simply trying to cut cost but reap more profits than the past. The days of Everquest sized expansions are a thing of the past. There is a new business model and you are correct, it caters to those willing to part with their money far too easy. It's just the business men that pursue the fads that have come to the industry, looking to bleed it and move on to the next venture. It's ok. I can afford it as an adult gamer with a well paying job and benefits. But in the future I will be a lot more picky on what I purchase, never preorder. The customer is always right, but the consumer is always wrong.
-
Is easy just quit the game and get off the forum. See is easy.
-
The worst part is how this is gonna happen with every DLC. And fanboys will gladly continue to belittle people that don't purchase. I know myself and almost all my friends are out on the 29th with Dying Light being released. I hope fanboys enjoy the communism that Bungie is creating.

Preach it man

Edited by Koomooloobooka: 1/2/2015 11:04:30 PMThis game was made for teens and preteens though, super simple repetitive gameplay, barely a story to wrap our head around. Just grind. Then the paywall so kiddos ask their parents for the update and the ability to keep playing.
-
2 RepliesYou make really good points. I agree with you and after I get what I already paid for, I know their will be no sequels in the future for me from Bungie. Unfortunately, I, like many others, were suckered into the bright lights and glimmer of what we saw at E3.

Man these new exotics are awesome

Go away then?

Ha ha ha. Sucks to be you.
