Too funny, Xur has now pay wall blocked non DLC players
I laugh in the face of Bungie for the utter absurdity of their attempts to force players to buy the DLC. I laugh even harder at the fanboys that run the sheep mentality of it is only $20 buy it.
I, myself, refuse to pay more than the original $60 since I see this "game", and I use the term loosely, for what it is, nothing more than a money sponge to rob players. Bungie has shown no loyalty to players and has proven to be nothing but a liability to consumers. I know you kids know everything, even though you have never really been out into the real world, and the die hard fanboys will come by to troll, but here is something to think about. If they are going to keep the Destiny servers running when Destiny 2 comes out I will be greatly surprised. That means since this is an online only game you will have wasted around $100 dollars or more. After all the new EULA Bungie claims the right to limit, suspend, or remove services. I know this means nothing to kids that get their money from mommy and daddy, and that is why you are catered too. Bungie is avoiding strength, adult gamers with knowledge and experience as consumers, and attacking weakness, kids that don't know any better.
The absurdly of this trash, and complete con, robbery, theft, fraud, shanghai, bamboozle, hoodwink, and bush whack is too funny, but it does for me what I intended it to do and provides my break from real FPS games.
Now we will hear from the fanboys please give me your tears of ignorance.

Asks you to buy DLC for 1/3rd of the original price with 1/100th of the original content with a couple of new guns, gear, and mazes in the same planets. No Thank you. Im only playing the original content because I already spent my $65 dollars on it and nobody will trade this game with me.

5 RepliesI don't understand why you're so upset about the DLC to be honest. Bungie stated right from day one there would be paid expansions. Whether or not you agree with locking content out to non-DLC'ers is another matter, but to complain about the expanding content itself is pretty silly when it's been on record for a long time before the game came out. Also, they've stated Destiny 2 will be an expansion of Destiny, meaning all your characters will be transferable over to the new game. Lastly, not everyone who bought the DLC and enjoys it got their money from mommy and daddy. I work full time, and play Destiny with my dad to unwind. You need to stop pretending that it's Bungie's fault you can't afford $20 for a DLC. Let's be brutally honest, if you can't afford $20 for entertainment as a grown up, it's because you've mismanaged your money somewhere along the line.

4 RepliesNon dlc players can't access the new exotics? If that's the case there is no need to freak out, it's xur. Chances that he'd sell something useful are slim. I can understand being upset about nightfalls and dailies but not xur. I wouldn't expect to access all the new dlc content from a guy who randomly puts up exotics. Only way around this would be to sell two sets but that doesn't work unless you're willing to give the dlc players twice as much from xur each week which I doubt Bungie would implement. A separate playlist for nightfalls, weeklies and dailies are all that's needed.

1 ReplyI posted about this in another thread. Activities such as nf, dailies and weeklies should have separate playlists just as it's done in the crucible. Xur on the other hand is more complicated. If you have another set of weapons for non dlc players then the dlc players would want to access those too if there is something of interest. What does Bungie do here? If they allow dlc players to access both then xur gives out more than what was intended. They'd have 2xs the chances of getting something they want or they'd rage about not being able to access the non dlc version of xur

11 RepliesI paid for an expansion pass with money. You didn't. Xur sells gear and a weapon with which I PAID to get access to,, and you didn't. I PAID for more, so I GET MORE. You didn't, so you WON"T get more. I find it completely absurd that you imply that Xur should not sell DLC weapons or armor because you don't have the expansion. Why, for the love of all that is holy, would it make sense for Bungie to punish players who spent money they've earned to buy their expansion pass because of players who didn't? What type of garbage is that? Yes, it's annoying for non-DLC players. I get that. However, that is how DLC works. You pay the money, you get special perks. With Call of Duty, should Season Pass owners not be able to play zombie maps they paid for because others who didn't pay for it complain they can't play it? Sounds stupid, right? Also, the gear and weapons isn't all of what Xur has to offer. He also has exotic shards, engrams, weapon upgrades, armor upgrades, telemetries, and sparrow upgrades. Do none of those things mean anything? You aren't being locked out of anything. It's simply the gear and the weapon with which you can't purchase for this weekend. You STILL can earn gear and weapons from strikes, engrams, the Vault of Glass, etc. Xur is NOT the only way to get them. Now, the Weekly heroic and Nightfall strikes are a different story. I won't go into too much detail, but I do agree that locking players out entirely from obtaining strange coins and the chance for better loot is stupid.

You should be restricted to only vanilla destiny. Yet all of you have new armor that WE PAID FOR. New weapons that WE PAID FOR. Stop being such a vagina. I'm a DLC holder and i completely disagree with their actions so far. Things that were included in the base game should definitely stay, there's no reason for non DLC's to miss things like nightfall or the weekly simply because they don't want to pay or don't have the money for the DLC(20 per pop is a pretty steep price and it's not even worth it) Now before you other DLC holders who have biased opinions come and flame me about the oh so stupid "well why should we be penalized while f2p gets the same vanilla strikes" or "they gave you lv 31 gear" to the first I say that's fine just give removed the heightened drop rate they released with the DLC and impose that along with an option to do those old strikes. The lv 31 gear is a ridiculous argument. It wasn't their choice to be given gear it just happened so quit crying; as it is they can't even hit 32 without DLC

So if I have to spend 20 bucks every few months it's still WAY cheaper than going to a movie or out for beers several times a week/month. Sorry bud, I find your points ridiculous and invalid. I am more than pleased with this game and will pay without complaints

I was a big cod player I try destiny and I like it the latest cod game can be awesome or bad but I have the choice to buy what I want and I rather pay for dlc than cod because destiny is what I like to play for this moment so if u don't pay you don't play.
