To the guy who kicked my brother
It's the normal circumstance, he got kicked for being a 29. While that is understandable, you didn't need to be a coward and not say a word to him. My brother has Autism and things like that really upset him. He did not deserve that. He would have left if you had of said "i only want level 30's bud, sorry" but no, you were a coward, twice, and booted him. I hope you get five strange coins for weeks for your Nightfall rewards. And to everyone else, please remember this when you boot someone, you don't know whats on the other end of that microphone.
Edit: For those that think he shouldn't be playing online games, it's one of the only social interactions he can take normally, and it really upsets him to be booted without cause, if you don't know anyone with autism, or are related to anyone with this disability, you simply won't understand
Edit 2: for people saying he's a "scrub" that 29 was his alternate that he made about a week ago, which is why he is not 30 yet
Edit 3: It's good to see that there are some really good people on these forums, the good is for sure outweighed by the bad here. I appreciate it, and so does he guys
Edit 4: Kind of off topic, but he just hit 30! Finally haha
Edit 5: The point of this post was to say that we do not know who is on the other side of that internet connection, and we should try and be courteous to people, not to say that my brother should get special treatment because of his Autism or that people should automatically know he is autistic.

But you don't have to go off on the other guy as well, he didn't know this about your brother so how did he do anything wrong? It's not being a coward to boot someone without talking, people would much rather be kicked out without saying a word then telling them to gtfo

2 RepliesGot kicked, it's not the best feeling. But you have to teach him to deal with it... Don't let little things like that get to him. He has autism, there's many types of autism. From being extremely shy and afraid of new people / places to not being able to communicate properly (e.g talking gibberish, skipping key words of their sentences), seeing things differently (you see something as friendly banter, he may see it as something that's going to end in death or blood and more). [spoiler]people with autism, especially aspergers, tend to overthink things quiet often.[/spoiler]

He also bears no responsibility for the other person's reaction. Frankly, there is no way he would have suspected your brother had autism. And just because he has autism doesn't make it wrong to kick him. That's like saying if I kicked a person with depression and they cut themselves, I'm a terrible person because of their actions. Bottom line, it's not his fault your brother was upset, he has every right to say nothing and kick whoever he pleases, and he is not responsible for another unknown person's reaction to something so trivial as being kicked from an online game.

Sure, kicking someone without explanation is somewhat lacking of manners, but who cares. Its a video game, it was that guys group, he did not owe your brother anything ( not even an explanation ). Also, your brother being autistic should NOT be relevant. By including that information and saying people should think about who is on the other end of the microphone, you completely changed the purpose of the post. Which was: A) To tell people to stop being jerks and elitists. But you changed it to: B) Treat autistic people special. Give my brother special treatment. Don't treat him like you would treat other random people over the internet.( even though thats all he is )

1 ReplyYou, your brother and the many randoms that complain about getting kicked or not being able to find raid groups should consider making or joining a clan. Build up a friends list of people you have played with and had fun doing so. Group up with those people and you'll stop having problems most of the time.
