It's the normal circumstance, he got kicked for being a 29. While that is understandable, you didn't need to be a coward and not say a word to him. My brother has Autism and things like that really upset him. He did not deserve that. He would have left if you had of said "i only want level 30's bud, sorry" but no, you were a coward, twice, and booted him. I hope you get five strange coins for weeks for your Nightfall rewards. And to everyone else, please remember this when you boot someone, you don't know whats on the other end of that microphone.
Edit: For those that think he shouldn't be playing online games, it's one of the only social interactions he can take normally, and it really upsets him to be booted without cause, if you don't know anyone with autism, or are related to anyone with this disability, you simply won't understand
Edit 2: for people saying he's a "scrub" that 29 was his alternate that he made about a week ago, which is why he is not 30 yet
Edit 3: It's good to see that there are some really good people on these forums, the good is for sure outweighed by the bad here. I appreciate it, and so does he guys
Edit 4: Kind of off topic, but he just hit 30! Finally haha
Edit 5: The point of this post was to say that we do not know who is on the other side of that internet connection, and we should try and be courteous to people, not to say that my brother should get special treatment because of his Autism or that people should automatically know he is autistic.

sorry, but its your job / your brothers job to make sure people know whats going on before joining a group. a friend of mine got an invite for the VOG hardmode yesterday while I was trying to get him some crota gear. he said he was going to join it, I asked if he mentioned he was lvl 28 when trying to find a group on the fourms. he said no why? told him he would get kicked before he fully loaded in. about 4 seconds later he says over the party chat they kicked him and asked to come back to the crota to get some gear. had he told them he was lvl 28 he would have never got an invite. at the very least you or your brother should have let the people know beforehand that he was 29 before joining a group. that said, if you guys are PS4 I have no problem soloing most nightfalls so I'm more then willing to have someone 27+ tag along with me most weeks. at the very least they can work as an anchor letting me to to orbit and join back.

shocking the amount of people who feel the need to be dicks when a poster asks for a little common courtesy. I think the idea being expressed by the OP is simple, if you can , just don't be a dick when you are gaming. It is not that hard.
-
3 RepliesNah I'll still kick people. Story's like this are supposed to make you feel bad but he had no idea. Plus why is your brother on destiny forums anyway? Most people are jerks
-
U best find the guy that kicked your brother and PUNCH HIM IN THE FACE cuz bein a dick to people with mental disorders aint cool

Edited by Dragonmourne: 1/12/2015 7:06:45 PMYes, I can agree that you never know who is on the end of the mic or who is playing the other character, but honestly, rudeness by other players comes with the territory of online gaming. You can't possibly assume that everyone should just know who the person is that is mucking up a raid run or a Nightfall, can you? I'm sorry, but if someone is under-leveled, has no mic, or has problems communicating in a coherent way with the rest of the team for whatever reason, it's an automatic boot. Not everyone has time to hand-hold and even fewer have the patience to tutor/mentor or carry a low level or unskilled player. That's not to say we should be rude about it, but them's the breaks, as they say.

Edited by Draconis Ark: 1/12/2015 7:17:32 PMIts a lvl 30 activity if i put out a post on the boards for help unless you say otherwise im expecting you to be the appropriate level i would only take 29s only if have played with them before or i know them personally (that might be one of the reasons most of my nightfall pug teams are shit :/). I would kick him as well autism or not. This post likely makes me seem like a dick but i don't care :)

2 RepliesYou are playing an online game. Maybe it would be an intelligent idea to not give someone with a low 'flipping shit threshold' access to a volatile environment. It isn't everyone's responsibility to sugar coat everything for any person in preparation for every possible encounter on the Internet. I'm certain plenty of other things were messed up that day that led to a meltdown.

If you guys have ps4 , add me Salvatoretrip . I'll be glad to run nightfalls and heroics with you guys.
-
1 ReplyIt's not a big deal to most people He didn't know your brother would take something so simple so personally An unfortunate but innocent happening
-
1 ReplyMaybe he should play a game with a better community
-
I'm on xb1 and he can join my fireteam almost whenever. Always doing raids and strikes and looking for guys. Have him add me if he wants. Gt is same as my username

I admire you for posting this. The online world, unfortunately, has become THE place for all those who only fake being courteous in the real world to unleash their true, assclownish, horrific self. The levels of elitism rampant in, at least, the raiding community of Destiny is ridiculous and bordering on psychotic. IT'S A GAME, JACKASSES!!! I wish more would be nice as a default but the world grows more and more self centered. Sorry about your brother. I'll play with you guys anytime.

No man 5 strange coins is too good 3 shards is fair

Xbox?
-
Git gud skrub
-
While the frustration is understandable and warranted, you can't control the actions of anyone he groups with.
-
How is he still a 29? Quit crying and get gud.
-
4 RepliesIf he gets that upset about getting kicked, maybe he shouldn't be playing the game at all.
-
If he's on Xbox one I'll raid with him, gt is same as name
-
23 RepliesSeriously he is autistic not retarded he can still do pretty much everything everyone else can do. Hitting level 30 in a video game isn't a thing to start congratulating him about.
-
I don't disagree with most of your point however, there was no need to say he has autism if your point was to be more courteous.
-
Hmmm real coward. I helped a lvl 28 this week on lfg. Guy asked me... Why are you doing it for a second time? You wont get rewards. Well... What if I told you i want to help you?
-
1 ReplyPeople always kick me because I'm a chronic masturbator and have to stop mid raid to fap. I have an illness people! I bet if I was a girl they wouldn't kick me for it..#doublestandards.
-
Props to your bro. Good job on the level thirty homie
-
