12 year olds...
Ok so a lot of people think that we early teens/12s (I'm 13) are all screwed up. Let me clear things up.
First of all, just to get this out of the way (not that you believed it anyway), we don't have much drama of any kind. At my school, there is very little dating if any. Any dating that happens is very irrelevant and not a huge thing that matters. Sure, we all have our crushes, but there's not much going on.
Second, most of us don't cuss. Those few that do on Xbox Live are the ones whose parents aren't home. Trust me, if they cuss it's because their parents are gone and they think they can do whatever they want now.
Lastly, We hate being called squeakers. I know that I try not to talk around older people because for now I still have a kid voice. But, even if we don't show it, every time we are called a squeaker it (I can't really explain it well) just sorta hurts. I'm not sure why but it makes us feel puny and irrelevant to the older guys.
So I hope that this clears things up about us "Twelve year olds"

Edit: ok let me re-clear things up about cussing. Yes, occasionally we will cuss. But, (this excludes all the fine African American gentlemen in the eight grade) it is usually just to quote a vine or I funny post. We rarely legitimately cuss someone out.

I wish it was the 90s.. where kids have to man up..whenever being picked on.. it's now close to 2015 and the USA has become a nation were we just sue everyone for any little thing. I think you shouldn't worry to much about how much hassle you over the net/games.

I don't mind kids, I call certain one ms squeakers when they scream and whine in the mic. Instant headache... But, the exception of mature kids. If your good, and at least hold your own, and use "your inside voice" on the mic, we can be friends. But, scream in the mic like a little girl, it's done.

I don't mind playing with kids that are mature beyond their years. Indeed my group is immature in many ways... however, its just easier to play on playstation and avoid the large age gap. I'll live with the server issues.

I completely agree I'm 13 and my voice is starting to get lower but my friends still make fun of me for it, that doesn't hurt but it does when I am not allowed in a raid group or I get kicked out of 8s (only COD players will understand) just because of my voice. Personally, I think it's just stupid because 2 of my friends and i made a top 100 team for advanced warfare on www.umggaming.com and we are proud of it.

I don't care about age as long as you don't scream at me when you get a legendary engram/ exotic drop. Seriously! No one cares!

The term "squeaker" was brought up to make the older generational individuals feel superior everytime they catch someone who is younger than them When they have a posse, it's hard to bring them down Sorry, kid. Just hold it through a few more short years. You'll get there

For example, when you have someone who starts asking why you have a 26 in a normal vog, that person is going to get kicked. If you are able to compose yourself in game like you can online I'd be happy to be on your fireteam. Although, the problem with most isn't the cussing it is just the general immaturity.

I dont care how old other players are or if they "cuss" just as long as they are respectful on the mic to other players To be perfectly honest, kids can pick up things quicker than the older generation in many cases and as a result be more beneficial to a fireteam
