"You know they keep hurting me with my own sword. I should just leave it at home next time." And atheon. Man if he didn't teleport you to where the magical oracles that, when destroyed cause him to take massive damage are. He'd be way tougher to kill. If I had to pick though I'd say crota. Because they're both stupid but, crota can only be hurt by his sword. And I'll assume atheon will be to dumb to pick up on that. So crota would just slowly chip away his health.

6 RepliesI'm sure this has been said but you need at least 4 to beat aetheon. So if Ir Yut, The Eyes, the Heart and the Will of Crota were there, along with Crota he would stand a chance.

I don't think people realize how many hit points atheon has. A crit to atheon with an icebreaker does like 20000 damage an r2 slam to crota does like 23k now to kill atheon a team of 5 all shooting black hammers all land 10 (? I'm just gonna go with this to make it a round number) crits so 5x10x20000 meanwhile crota on hard takes 16 r2 slams to kill 16x23000. So atheon health= 1,000,000 hit points While crota= 358,000 Even with crotas shield that's not much and atheon with his blast wouldn't have a hard time putting crota on his knee and killing the swordbearer grabbing the sword and poking crotas eyes out.

Sending Crota to another time wouldn't work, in my opinion, considering Crota can freely create his own dimension out of his power alone. - Atheon teleports Crota - Crota enters his own dimension, then leaves and comes back in VoG - Crota whacks Atheon with his one-hitting God-sword Crota can only be killed by a sword. The most Atheon could do is damage his shield - Atheon rapid fires and downs Crota's Shield - Crota kneels, then stands back up - Crota whacks Atheon with his one-hitting God-sword That is how I imagine the fights would go down.

12 RepliesDepends on stage but still will be crota. Why is simple. Yes atheon can just shoot crota's shield down, but he cant hold the little sword that you need too use the kill crota. Yes atheon can trap crota in some dimension but thats not beating him.

AT WHICH POINT HE CAN PROBABLY KILL A HOBGOBLIN OR GOBLIN AND SUMMON AN OVERSOUL BUT CROTA WOULD DIE FIRST FROM NOT HAVING A TEAMMATE OUTSIDE TO OPEN A PORTAL SO WHEN CROTA DIES THE OVERSOUL WOULD DESPAWN UNLESS IT GLITCHES OUT AND DOESNT DESPAWN IN WHICH CASE ATHEON WOULD DIE 10 SECONDS AFTER CROTA DIES BUT MORE THAN LIKELY ATHEON WOULD WIN IF THEY CLASHED IN THE VAULT OF GLASS. EXCEPT ATHEON IS 3 LEVELS UNDER CROTA SO ATHEON WOULD DO 75% LESS DAMAGE AND MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO DROP CROTA FAST ENOUGH. SINCE ATHEON CANNOT TAMPER WITH TIME OUTSIDE THE VAULT OF GLASS IF THEY WERE TO CLASH IN CROTAS DOMAIN CROTA WOULD EASILY SMASH THE SHIT OUT OF ATHEON WITH THE WIZARD BLASTS FROM HIS HANDS AND SWORD FOR THE WIN. IN NEUTRAL TERRITORY CROTA WOULD STILL WIN.
