"If i had asked what the people wanted, they would ask for faster horses" - Henry Ford
imagine getting a BUNGIE GIFTCARD for christmas! were you get 25% off a bungie t-shirt and a free santa hat with your first purchase of any exotic weopon, raid armour peice, or exotic armour peice for only $2.99!
giftcard is redeemable at any gunsmith in the tower and receive two emblem templates of your design! a custom template? thats right. create.thrive.shoot.survive, your own emblem. *drum roll*
wow i was not expecting this kind of response! hopefully bungie consider at least SOME of these ideas and deej passes them on some great feedback!!!!
a system based on microtransactions plus raid gear to reach max light level is a good idea.
say you have been raiding for MONTHS now
and you have your gauntlets legs but no chest! oh no! but you really, REALLY want to be 30 for the new raid!
thats ok... you can always purchase a chest peice from the gunsmith for $4.99!! bam 30
this would ensure that destiny servers are maintained and receive regular updates and patches
edit: microtransactions will allow you to obtain lvl 30 and exotics without having to raid, therefore allowing more free time to do what you wanna do instead of having to play the game, many thanks to the supporters of this idea and i hope bungie implement it!
Edit 2: the vex mythoclast purchasable through RL vendor only when dark below drops, necrocasm purchasable only when wolves drops. sales from these two guns alone should fuel a small army of devs to drop a 4th DLC before destiny 2 AND give Deej a much needed raise.
Edit 4: special shaders emblems and cosmetic items purchasable all year round
Edit 5: purchasable raid gear is capped two lvls below the next cap, only purchasable a week before next lvl cap increase.
Edit: a cash for glimmer exchange, a huge must
some really good feedback coming from you guys! thanks for the support, all proceeds will go back to you guys! and the bungie team ! more pew pew less QQ
it seems like were at a half half on it, tipping more towards yes to transactions which is good to see!

This is tagged satire. Pay-to-win is such a horrible idea, you shouldn't joke about it.

1 Reply"Mr. Madison, what you've just said... is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."

Can I just get a faster horse?
-
2 RepliesThis is literally the dumbest idea ever made on this forum. Congratulations.
-
Just no. No no no no no. Do not ask them to ruin this game. I have played too many iOS games that you need to pay to be competitive. This idea is just stupid.
-
1 ReplyI'd actually be ok with it if everything but raid gear was purchasable if the profits somehow came back to us via free new content, better servers, ect
-
Seriously though this is the dumbest idea ever. Go spend your money on your family men wthell! Its christmas modafuka ! GIVE BACK TO YOUR FOLKS WHO RAISED YOU BLOOD AND SWEAT AND TEARS! RNGESUS CHRIST !

Micro transactions are what is really wrong with games in the most recent year. Especially transactions which gains you an advantage over non-paying gamers. The only micro transactions I condone are vanity ones like wow mounts, pets, etc. basically shaders and class items in Destiny. However, games are much better without them. Wow is a very unique case where I bought friends pets for Christmas and birthdays.

1 ReplyBecause you know, then Destiny could be just like Warframe. And I mean that in a negative way.

4 RepliesI can't tell if trolling, or incredibly stupid...

tough crowd

1 ReplyHow about no... Entitled kids with mommy and daddy's credit card on their console will be running around the tower saying "look at me I'm 32 first because I'm better. Nah nah nah". Go spend you money on beer and grind like the rest of us. Filthy Casual.
-
2 RepliesMicrotransactions are ALWAYS a bad idea in video games. You should be ashamed of yourself! Please turn in your copy of Destiny and exit through the door marked "fascist" in an orderly manner.
-
1 ReplyThis is actually one of the funnier things I have seen posted, the OP is clearly messing with you guys, just look at his comment where it says "it seems like were at a half half on it, tipping more towards yes to transactions which is good to see!" Obviously that is not the case when you look at the comments, thanks for the laugh OP

2 RepliesThe day that microtransactions are introduced to Destiny is the day I break my Destiny disc in half and never play again. PERIOD.

Edited by RealHoosier07: 12/9/2014 2:34:02 AMNo -blam!-ing way. Always a bad idea. Check out gta online. Horrible horrible idea
-
No thanks not a fan of pay to win.
-
2 RepliesMicro transactions are only acceptable in games for purely cosmetic features. Pay to win is a cancer to the games industry
-
1 ReplyMicrotransactions are ruining the gaming industry in terms of quality of product, and have bred the most unappreciative, spoiled, unproductive and entitled generation of gamers. So go take your five dollars and play some Facebook game, and leave games that actually deserve time and hard work to earn achievement to those of us who care about the future of the industry.
-
Microtransactions-why it isnt a good idea
-
You remind me of those kids in WoW that would buy lvl 90's with full raid gear just to join the elite raid team and get all but hurt when they boot your ass out because you do not know your class or how to play it in a raid.
