This post has been edited to address some of the nasty comments.
After announcing the new DLC content would be available to all regardless, I called Sony and asked for a refund. The agent first said, he'd submit a request that'd take 5 business days to process. I demanded a supervisor. The supervisor tried to explain the "benefits" of the Expansion Pass and the Destiny ultimate experience on PS bull****. I insisted on having my money refunded, and sure enough had my refund worked out and money applied to my wallet.
Edit: If you didn't feel like you've been cheated, lied to and misled by Bungie. Then, enjoy the DLC. If you think it's unfair that you pay for something that a big chunk of will be available for everyone free of charge, then get your money back. Period.
Edit 2: Fanboys aren't bright. The only thing they know is trying to get someone else's approval. It doesn't matter of $35 is a lot or insignificant amount of money. I have the right to get my money back when I'm not happy with a product. Any product. And having bought this game and the expansion pass doesn't mean that backing out is wrong. Posting my frustration and disgust with the company's approach to sell their commodity is my right as it's everyone else's. If you don't agree with my argument, respond with valid rebuttal, with whatever evidence you may find. Responding with "what a baby," "crying bitch," "whiny," will not boost your intelligence or affect me in anyway. Finally, If you're disrespectful, I will respond in kind. Bullies only answer to strength and should be put in their place.
Edit 3: The refreshing presence of respectful gamers on here, and their feedback outweighed the negativity this thread received. Thank you!

I may be wrong but isn't the expansion also for house of wolves, however house of wolves comes out later?
-
It's 35 for both the dark below and house of wolves
-
Only some of the new loot will be available to all. Everything else will only be available with the expansion.

No, I have a job and earn decent money. $60 is nothing to me and if the day did ever come I got sick of destiny, it would happily join the others in the pile of unused games. I can understand how the less fortunate people may feel they need to go claim that measly $20 for trading it in.
-
You're right, you are not paying $35 for that. The expansion pass INCLUDES TWO expansions, not just the first one.
-
Prove it or be cast on the attention seeker pile
-
Lol ur paying 35 for 2 dlcs which contains two raids multiple pvp maps and strikes along with new weapons of all types and new things to shoot at so not just one raid and a few crucible maps

11 RepliesWait i'm confused. What was your exact reasoning you used for a refund? I'm curious because I wouldn't mind doing the same damn thing lol...

It's a raid, two strikes, three new story mission, three new pvp maps, new exotics and raid gear. The expansion pass is for both expansions so it's basically what I said and then doubled. $15-$18 dollars for content that will last me at least 3-5 hours is well worth it. This is considering it costs me $15 just to go watch a movie for 90-120 minutes.

5 business days... Wouldn't that lead up to the DLC and you would have already gotten it before they even refunded it?
-
Gewd for yewwwwww
