whats the hunter advantage? if any...

titans can make an unbreakable force field that lasts almost 5 minutes. warlocks can revive themselves and they can push atheon out... what are the hunters good for, beside looking "cool"? do they do more damage than the other two classes?

  • We jump instead of hover, so we aren't sitting ducks in mid air Invisibility for escaping and reviving Melee attacks are more.... Ninja like I guess you could call it The throwing knife is badass (if you know how to use it) Bladedancer is a mass murderer in a crowd. Hunters are made for long range, while warlocks are mid range, and titans are close range.

  • I can't really enjoy my Titan anymore. I use a hunter with mida multi tool on my inventory at all times. I love how effective speed is in this game. You should see me with the relic in vog and crotas end. Speed is an advantage in of itself, you can't take damage if you don't get hit.

    Invisibility. I just wish it actually made us invisible. Invisible means unseen by the eye...

  • Mobility is actually an advantage with a hunter especially the jumping. You don't hover in space. Hunters can go invisible which on a nightfall allows them to prevent wipes by rezzing etc. Hunters get Chains of woe allowing massing increased reload times. Because of this hunters are the best pure mob control in the game. Hunters have good grenades. The other classes skills are very situational. The warlock self Rez is awesome but usually means good players never use their super.

    • For PVE: GS: -Always reloading your guns blindly fast. -Keeping shots on target with increased stability. -Instant, and positive upward jumps. -Tactical grenades: create a barrier, set up a perimeter, or blow through Phalanx's shields. -A precise and ranged super. -Walk around Fallen tracking weapons with agility. -Longest ranged melee with, unlimited uses if you are skilled. BD: -Instant weapon readiness. Such a small thing is a big advantage. -Melee special is always ready. -Melee kills regenerate health. -Invisibility: get the first shot, revive teammates, or retreat. -On they fly grenades: great for crowd control, single target, or flushing out enemies. -Blink though danger, advance quickly. -Tactical special: crowd control, ranged attack, medic mode, and has damage resistance for increased survivability. I don't play PVP, but I guess I don't need to defend them there.

        • The one time they were really useful is when they ran the sword on Crota, if they blink strike him by dropping the sword and picking it back up, he's invisible so he can stay alive.

          Titan bubbles last 30 seconds..wirh bastion its 45 seconds. Hunters have increased agility meaning they move fast, making them excellent relic/sword holders.

        • Outside of supers in PvP, none. People hate on Hunters, but it's by far the hardest class to be 'good' with.

          • Bladedancer is traditionally bad in pve but now if you're a level 31 bladedancer with don't touch me you are an invincible, invisible god.

          • Hunters can stealth to Rez party members or remove themselves from enemy radar in pvp.

          • Hunters have the uncanny ability similar to that of an atheist that allows them to put down ever religion (class) that exists!

          • Hunter PvE are ok but with blade face and stalker it helps for endgame PvE. Pvp no one can stop other than other hunter or error codes lol.

          • titans bubles are useless if you use a fusion rifle , granade or ult insude it as for hunters yes they can revive themselves but ince per game (twice if they have tones of killls) the hunter advantage is that hunters ult arent AoE like warlock or titans hence you can take an entire fire teamby roaming the map but as for titans and worlocks were lucky if we take out 2

          • They can turn invisible? Also make decent kill target cannons with golden gun. Beside the titan instant cool down with storms fist they have the fastest melee cool down in the game I'm blade dancer. Uhmm they have a trip mine which is cool but tricky lol They are the only class with triple jump! No other class has a ranged melee atk because Ive never seen a fellow titan throw a knife lol Yeah they still have a lot of worth and things that make them special .

          • Reviving yourself is only good if you die.... shouldn't need to depend on a self rezzer to keep team alive.. if everyone starts going down you might as well wipe

                • The only reason I was able to beat the nightfall was because on guy in our group say in the back and turned invisible to revive is every 5 sec lol and he's obviously a hunter
