Why are you kids so lazy.
I was doing the nightfall and noticed someone joined me. this kid and his buddy dropped in then said he isn't far enough and they left. So 10 minutes later I invited them back since I'm at the archon priest. They came on and helped and on a few minutes we had him almost dead. thanks for the help I told them glad I was far enough along now. Then I booted them from the fire team and locked it to invite only. lol. Lazy little blams.

6 RepliesI was on archon priest yesterday, A random I met on the forums was in the cheese spot under the platform, while I was on the cliff where you enter the area. I was against him going into that spot cause I told him he'd get stuck, "nah bro I got this, it's easy!" He said to me.....he was surrounded by shanks, reaver vandals, and stealth vandals within 10 minutes. Not only was he unable to help at all with the priest, but he was also attracting the priest to him every now and then which prevented me from sniper-stun-locking him. "I'm gonna leave and come back, so I'll spawn near to you." He said a few minutes later. The moment he left I locked my fire-team and sniper-stun-locked the priest for a good minute, (when I ran out of ammo) before firing an entire clip of heavy machine gun ammo and killing him. Phantom has found [b]the last word[/b]. ....I received angry messages all night. ;) hehehehehehehehehehehe................

5 RepliesI solo'd the nightfall on two different characters up to the boss area, then invited people from DestinyLFG to come in for the win. I like to think that was pretty generous. That being said, -blam!- those little kids.

These kids nowadays are just given everything they've ever wanted by their weak willed parents. They have no idea what it is to really be hungry, or cold, or to go without a modern amenity. They don't know what the word "No" sounds like. We talk about the struggle and the reality of it, but most of us don't know what struggle really is. They have no idea what its like to be homeless, and to carry all of your worldly shit in one bag on your back. To not eat for a week and a half, because you can't afford it. To go entirely without the internet, without [i]electricity.[/i] They're soft. Like cookie dough. Never had to really [i]work[/i] a single day. Never volunteered to do anything, knowing they wouldn't be rewarded. I'm only 25, but I've been working since I was 12. I've been on my own before. I've been in situations where I had nothing. There have been times where life has been a lot less kind. I'm comfortable now, and can talk to you fine gents. But it wasn't always that way. These people coming out of highschool, coming out of college, working part time and living with mommy and pop-pop, had everything laid out for them; They're in for a world of hurt when the well runs dry and its time to get out on their own. Not all of them will be smart enough to make it. I doubt most of them will be even well-adjusted enough to fake it.

4 RepliesI've noticed this a lot lately these past two or three weeks. I love adding the people who I talk to and complete the raid with me. That being said, I've noticed a handful of those people have started joining me when I'm at the boss running the nightfall. It's one thing to hop in and ask, or send a message, but these people have straight up been joining the fight, and then leave as soon as it's done without saying a word, not even a message sent saying "thank you." It's getting a bit annoying, and I don't like setting up my fireteam to invite-only. Looks like my friends list may simply need a bit of a trim.

Nope. Not happening. That's also why I usually do it with a full fireteam of friends. Simple fix. It's almost as bad as someone who says they'll beat Atheon on hard with you, then ditch out when get the checkpoint, then delete you from their friends list so you can't report them/message them. Funny thing is that a lot of people don't know how to actually get checkpoints, so they don't get it and I laugh at their failed attempt.

4 RepliesDude I had the same situation , this kid said hey let's do a nightfall and I was like OK , so right when we start it he leaves then when I'm under the stair pickin away at the priests head he joins and I was like no effing way man so right when he was almost dead I gave him the boot haha love the boot option
