IMO, It is great that you could get shards or energy from an event but if you dont you just wasted time, so I think materials should be a reward as well as energy and shards to make it more appealing to all players and levels.

Let's try again.. The sad majority ( under this specific comment from DeeJ ) are lower level, new to the game, players.. I used to be just like you, I even defended the game!! Don't believe me ? That being said, destiny launches, makes you feel great ! Powerful ! Like you can compete with the best ! Reality, random loot drops reward no skill.. If you don't want to be honest that's fine, continue to defend a game that got terrible reviews from professionals, and continue to play, that's your right and your choice. However, those that are in the elite bracket, those that have grinded their thumbs into that 3-500 hour threshold who know every loophole, every spot, every bullet sponge's weakness, and have every exotic bounty completed, we need to instigate change. If we don't, our 500 hour investment goes out the window.. Now, these kids, yes kids, are not used to MMO games. They don't understand in wow how you can make characters that are so advanced they literally can be sold for profit. That's a true MMO. Look, those that know this game was hack and slashed, you get it, start doing something about it. Be a soldier and spread the word, we want change, FREE DLC, new and exciting missions. Also, the witcher 3 is putting all DLC for free, yes free. This is how it should be, further proving my point that when DLC was being created on the original Xbox for Xbox live, the extra content was always free. Publishers now use this as a scam to release mediocre content for more cash.. If you studied economics it will all make sense.. Guardians make their own fate

Don't get me wrong, I myself love DLC and will be playing the new dark below when it comes out, but will this DLC saturated market ever get back to rewarding players with options like single console split screen co-op or vs? I miss those days playing alongside my best friends in the original halo. Having someone to tackle heroic or legendary with. Trading and combining strategies during co-op missions. I'll keep buying DLC but that gameplay to me is the best reward for friends, fathers and sons and the whole family alike. *My two cents

Once The Division is released I'm dropping this game. Not what I expected it to be. Hopefully history doesn't repeat itself with The Division, too.

Yea well the ascendant materials dwindle after 2 or 3 events. Which defeats the purpose of the grind. And it's downright insulting when we dedicate the time to try and maximize the opportunity yet at every turn you chop us off at the knees. I could understand the queens materials. And I could understand your need to try and get more players involved in the raid. But you are losing players interests by taking the only other location we are guaranteed ascendant materials. Your raising the grind and now that COD Advanced warfare is out and Halo is on the way you are leaving less and less incentive for players to stay. The raid grind is becoming continuously tedious with your updates. And your weapon nerfs were also off putting. You promised an increase in some weapons you over reduced yet it's been weeks and 2 updates since any promise has been made. I remain a faithful player of bungie and continue to grind. But as an active participant of your community I hope that my voice is heard.

make the tower more lively please bungie please have proximity voice chat in the tower !!!!!that would make the whole destiny experience better. specifically to make raid groups easier to form people would have the option to turn it off or on it would be cool to have it everywere .. bump let bungie see this
