IGN weighs in on the broken VoG raid. Come on Deej/Bungie.....We need some FEEDBACK please. 3400+ Votes...
If this doesn't make Bungie fix the broken raid nothing will. Can we please have some feedback on when to expect these issues are going to be resolved? My team cannot defeat the raid on hard mode due to these 5 issues that IGN is reporting on and MANY of your customers have posted about. In short...

I think that prioritizing fixes for these glaring bugs is a major issue and I WILL stop playing if they are not at least addressed directly before the DLC. Reddit posted a list of all known major bugs in the Raid. It is extensive. That list also included some additional bugs encountered in all game modes. It was also disappointingly extensive. DeeJ posted a response there acknowledging the list but there have been two weekly updates since and no mention of any major bugs that aren't zoo related. You know, except for the Atheon teleport "bug."

Stop complaining, get better, and find better people to play with. I complete the raid every week on hard, and know people who do up to 4 times a week. Stop trying to make this a casual game.

Single file line. Jeez. 4. Call for reinforcements! Oh and don't stick too close prior to teleport.. 3. Stop shoving around the shield bearer you bullies! 2. HULK SMASH! 1. Don't allow the Minotaurs to settle in their electrified state. Or better yet, KILL THEM FASTER. I still love this game bahahahahahahahhaha!

4 RepliesUnfortunately they don't care enough to fix the content in this game I mean why would they need to do so as they can just say "Oh well play the new raid in the DLC like a good sheep and give us our money" Now I am sure so many posts have been made on pretty much every form of social media which have made a mention of the bugs/glitches and the exploits with the final boss fight in the VoG and Bungie is turning a blind eye to it why because again they don't need to fix it as they already have your money for the game and for some the cost of the DLC... yes I use the term DLC as a expansion pack would include so much more in terms of content

Yeah, it's really facking stupid. I've lost almost all faith in bungie, who used to be my favorite developer. We got reamed on this game. Guess I'll play nightfall and crucible till halo comes out...

Tomorrow it's gone from your vault. Bungie's policy is "no refunds." THAT, is a game breaking bug. The others suck too. They must be addressed, but this vanishing item bug must come first.

Also, please take Ascendant materials, chatterwhite, and timebreaker out of the the drop pool for Atheon on hard. That's all I have to show for beating Atheon. I've beats him on hard so many times, and still no Vex. Meanwhile, the players in my raid group have earned the vex two and even three times over.

Its pathetic that the best part of this game is just as broken as everything else in the game. Can't wait to move past it next week.

Is it buggy? Yep. Is it frustrating at times? Yep. Is it still the best part of this game? Yep. We did one last raid last night for some of our alts, and ran into pretty much every issue listed in the article. But we got it done...I will not be defeated by Atheon, or Bungies crappy fixes!

I really wish they'd do something about the portal bug... Really a shame how many times whole teams had to wipe because of those portal issues. Had to wipe several times with a random group during the gatekeeper since our second relic holder couldn't get through the portal. As for Atheon and pushing, did it once pre patch...I'm still not sure why people complain about it. We're on floating platforms..the bods is on floating platforms. The hell did anyone think was going to happen when the AI weren't made smart enough to not get near the edge?

57 RepliesI am not sure these are bugs.... the 'broken' portal thing seems to only happen when multiple people are trying to pass through at once. We solved this by going through single file and it hasn't happened since. And this was an issue prior to patch as well. enemy health bug - if you are giving the relic holder support, this is a non-issue. only 2 teleports - happens from time to time, but can be overcome. Not a game- breaker at all. shield bug - typically a result of poor positioning. point is - figure out a solution instead of assuming its a bug and crying.

I'd bet both of my fully upgraded Hawkmoon's on that. Just like when Ign pointed out how pointless the Iron Banner was with the equipment you earned and the level advantages.... Two weeks later Bungie announce they're overhauling the system and adding better armour. I can't believe I'm saying this, but thank you IGN! These are the guys the devs listen to, not us. On a different note, ran the raid AGAIN and AGAIN got no armour.... in about 10 runs I've only ever found gloves, and that was my first ever run... Is this some sort of joke? If only IGN could make an article about this.... It's honestly as bad as the old Cryptarch system.

11 RepliesThe little glitches here and there are fine they never stop me and my raid groups. What needs to be fixed is the exploits because people are just cheating their way through and getting weapons that eventually get nerfed because everyone had it like the vex for instance.

Bungie need to implement ASAP better and consistent loot drop rates or else Destiny will follow Mass Effect's 3 multiplayer fiasco. Destiny is a game, we are not gambling in a casino. People are getting tired of grinding repetitive content for little to no reward. Stop making things so difficult to attain.

8 RepliesI think all you guys that whine about the glitches wouldn't be able to complete the hard VoG regardless. I've played every week, multiple times, and had many of these glitches occur. Never, NOT ONCE, did any of them prevent me from finishing. Suck it up and try again, buttercup. Sure, the glitches suck. Pretend someone died, wipe and move on. If you have the skills, it won't be a problem.

I ran the raid last night. It took us a very long time to down Atheon. But We finally got the whole thing completed. I and my fireteam experienced each of these bugs last night. The portal bug really sucks cause it can get you and your team mates all killed plus it takes away most of your time that you would be doing damage to the boss. Also Had several times we wiped do to a Minotaur on the Venus side of the Portal taking a tremondous ammount of hits and damage and just refilling on health and then wiping the group. Definately noticed several times where players recieved Damage while inside the shield and dies or nearly did. Not sure if it was from Splash damage or just faulty shield. They really need to work on these bugs and get them fixed.

The detain bubble has an even worse bug although more rare, imagine getting detained THEN teleported. So now your detainment bubble is back with atheon while you're on mars- guess what? YOU DIE.

I was in a pug last night with 2 friends.. We beat Atheon in 2 tries, no pushing and 1 portal bug. It took maybe 10 minutes. It may be "broken" but if you adapt to what happens, like in war, you can succeed.

I will continue to play the raid but only until I am at the Atheon checkpoint. Then I quit. It isn't worth fighting the bugs. That is the current true final boss of the VoG.

8 RepliesI agree with everything except the health regen. If you melee attack it, that specific enemy is meant to regain health. If you jump, then ground stomp, he wont regain health.
