Nerf the legendary engram drop rate.
Over the past few days, I've gotten a serious number of legendary engrams dropping for me from strikes, crucible, heroic missions, and other things. I know that I cannot be alone in this streak of luck which has led to too many legendaries for me. Since there is no trading system or other means of giving away my useless purples as [i]it is the vision of the game to earn your gear.[/i] I must therefore propose a solution that fits within the vision for this game.
Nerf engram drop rates across the board by 50%.
Feel free to answer the poll and admonish/praise/be apathetic towards it in the comments below.

Lucky you. I haven't got a legendary engram from squat, aside from the nightfall, and it gave me a junk legendary.

6 RepliesOn a scale of 1 to invading Russia in the winter how terrible of an idea is that, I don't care if the legendary engrams turn into useless stuff, sometimes there good. I'm lucky to get 1 a week, the green engrams need to drop less because there completely useless once you get past lv 20, they need to bump the rare and legendary drop rate.

When I play for more than an hour a day since I was able to get legendary engrams (I've been playing since alpha, beta and day one) I've gotten 2+ almost every single day. And every heavy one I've gotten has been a Gjallarhorn. I've always had amazing RNG luck in this game so I just turn them in and go on with my day.

Tell me about luck, 6 months wothout gjallarhorn, got my first one yesterday and second one today. Sometimes luck is on your side, other times its not. Just be happy that you get legendary engrams (in your case)

I know this was posted in 2014 but really though "too many legendaries"? Who the -blam!- doesn't want an overflow of legendaries, and theres a dismantle mechanic for a reason.

I still haven't received a HoC and I've ran Crota easy nearly 100 times.....

I still consider myself new to destiny so my opinion may not count but personally i don't agree. I think I've found just one and it contained 2 rare items so im not even counting it as a find
