Initial question:
What angers, frustrates, disappoints, saddens, or just pisses you off in destiny?
It's been a while now and while some things have changed many have not.
Follow up question:
Is destiny getting better?

27 RepliesPretentious PvP sweaters complaining and getting their way so casual players and "scrubs" who just want to enjoy the PvE (which is the part bungee advertised most as being revolutionary and exciting) find it harder to enjoy it. If you play destiny solely for the PvP and try to ruin the game for everything else by patching stuff that enhances PvP and leaves PvE lacking then f*ck off and play CoD.

4 RepliesLogging in... And seeing I have nothing to do. Seeing that the developers put Korean MMO grinding in a game that is unforgivably empty and makes you resent the grinding. I moved to Shadow of Mordor and am grinding up my runes now .. Why don't I resent that? Because the grinding is masked. I'm not killing the same character model a million times for a chance at a random piece of gear I 99% won't even need. I'm diving head first into a group, killed 10 im various ways then got killed. That orc gets promoted. Now I'm mad he killed me, a quest takes place to interrupt one of several events to try to get revenge. Try to break it up, I kill my nemesis, but the orc sabotaging him lived and killed me with a spear. He's a war chief now, gets a body guard of 5 captains. Now I have to sneak, plan, hit and run, bring in monsters, distract, possess, cause explosions to finally bring the bastard down, and I get a chance at an amazing rune, and I've leveled up my gear. The epic fight made me feel like I did something. Tons of close calls I barely survived. Random generated orc, random armor, they all look different, most talk crap to you. End result is I'm grinding killing random monsters for random stuff I stand a chance of not needing. But its FUN because of the various stuff that gets thrown in, its FUN because of stuff might just jump off anytime. The grinding is masked. Destiny: log in. See I still have that 25 strike bounty for a garbage gun that's way less use then my vendor bought Shadow Price. I played Moon strike forever the other week, cbf to do it again. What else is there today, ohh look kill 200 fallen. Kill 100 with headshots. Kill 25 people. Or play Dinklebot defense again for the 400th time in the exact same way. Zero difference. Lvl 6 or lvl 26, doesn't matter, all damage is more or less scaled, so you have no real power creep. Different characters don't matter, they're essentially the same except for supers. Guns, auto, scout, fusion or shotgun. Anything not purple is trash. Great graphics, hollow everything else

18 RepliesEdited by HolyTrollin: 10/20/2014 7:39:20 PM- Lack of variety in bounties/patrols - Re-skinning of existing content billed as new content - Shallow, amateurish story & mission design - Severely limited gear variety - Severely limited customization options - Clunky, counterintuitive UI - Lack of any immersive elements - Death boundaries in an "open world" game - Limits & capping of nearly every currency in a glaringly obvious attempt at extending life of existing repetitive content - Immediate catering to PVP that affects PVE - Arrogant, condescending, and tone-deaf attitude of devs Despite that; I'm not angry. I'm just disappointed in how much potential existed for Destiny compared to what was delivered at launch.

Carrying, literally carrying my team to victory in Crucible (me having 3 times as many points as the others) and getting absolutely no rewards. Low variety of Strikes. Farming for materials. Other than that I'm content.

I love DESTINY I really do but it's gonna need new content faster than December for me to continue enjoying it.... It's just beginning to become very repetitive

Bad story. Fusion rifles.

1 ReplyThe reworking of boss mechanics for no reason while there are real glitches and problems that need to be addressed first.

Everytime i get in a raid group it falls apart. I want to finish the damn thing and get lootz.

People whining about things that should not be messed with
-
People wanting a nerf on weapons....it affects us in PvE you know..
-
Destiny, The game where you find something fun to do and they nurf it.
-
The zero character development, invisible walls in stupid places, Bungie being out of touch with the real issues.
-
The invisible roof and walls on all the levels
-
Bungie not listening, fixing exploits instead of bugs and the bullshit RNG loot system which is unbalanced

What happened to Destiny being a 40+ gig install? Oh yeah... Activision told Bungie their game of 6 years of development had too much content. F you Activision. You screw everything up.

2 RepliesAll the cry babies who think they're entitled to gear/weapons, because they paid $60 for the game. And everyone who cries nerf.

11 year old girl-boys on xb1 with their parents MIA. (it's why I play on ps4)

Edited by MixTip: 10/22/2014 3:44:16 PMLack of content. Boring classes. Little character customization. Lack of armor/weapon appearances. Lack of support from error codes. Absolutely weak story. Spaceships look the same. Terrain that was said to be explorable isn't exploreable. Repetitive strikes/patrol missions. Whenever you clip a small rock or barely graze a pole, you awkwardly lose all your momentum. Titans catapult not catapulting. Can't really mitigate a one shot melee from bosses except for a quickly useless immobile shield. Lack of RPG elements. Terrible characters. I'm sure I could go on.

since everything about the general game is already on the thread I won't repeat them but will add something else. They petty review spammers who get all there friends to try and get you banned just cause you beat them in PvP.

Doing the raid 7 times with not 1 piece of armor.
