I love Bungie and always will.

Remember when you paid $60 for a game and the whole game was on the disc? Remember when "DLC" didn't exist and that $60 bought you an entire 12 hours of gameplay and maybe some frustrating PvP? Good times, right? Actually, no. Unlike many of the naysayers here, I'm old enough to remember cartridges, "Game Over", where all the extra lives are in the original Sonic the Hedgehog game for Sega Genisis. I grew up with video games- as I became who I am, so did video game culture develop into what we have today. Since Halo: Combat Evolved I've watched Bungie redefine gaming, breathe life into the FPS genre, and revolutionize the interactive entertainment industry. They're not followers capitalizing on the risks taken by others. They're pioneers, cutting a path through the monotony of mainstream gaming and facing the very real threat (yes, threat) of public opinion. We go forward with them, faithful and trusting. Even those of us who so quickly speak critically of a situation we know less than 10% about. It comes down to, quite simply, play the game and be grateful for it (all things considered, the 4 weeks of gameplay we've gotten so far is more than worth $60), or return it and allow your vehement dissatisfaction with some of my favorite people and one of my all time favorite games dissolve. These people must love what they do. And I love them for it. Bungie, I'm with you and will invest in your success, whatever that means. You've given me some of the most sincere joy in my life and I will never forget it. As a Spartan, and now as a Guardian, I'll stand with you. I'm starting a clan centered around community support for Bungie. PM me on PS4 if you're interested and I'll make sure you're included.

  • I am over 50. I have played some of the first console games ever. I have played games on the Apple ][e, on DOS PCs, and on Windows PCs. Destiny is my first console game, and probably the last. I have played a lot of games, a couple of good games, and a few great games. Halo wasn't one of them. If some game developer deserves the attribute of "redefining gaming", then there are a few candidates, but Bungie certainly is not on this list. Who paid you, fanboy?

    • Remember when a 60$ dollar game didn't have access to the full story because the company wanted you to pay the rest later on in a dlc? Yeah I remember it happened since this game came out.. ;) This game was great for the first week then it went to a let down with all the lies it has shown us.
