Should the Mythoclast have been nerfed?
I feel if you completed the hardest part of the game you should have a gun better than everyone else. Even in the interview with IGN Bungie had stated "Once you beat the raid you will come out much more powerful. " And yes it sucks for people in PvP but if you want to play without level advantages stay out of the Iron Banner. I've killed plenty of people who've held this gun and they have killed me. I just don't think it is fair to take away the power of a gun that people worked so hard for! Everyone has the opportunity to earn that gun. Even though your equipment contributes to 20% in PvP the other 80% is skill! The multiplayer in this game isn't supposed to be fair on purpose (Especially in the Iron Banner)! That way you can go out level up and pick up a bad ass gun of your own! If you want something that's more fair and leveled in competitive multiplayer (and don't take this the wrong way...) then go to CoD. But in a world where we are striving for the best equipment shouldn't we be able to flaunt it and make that other person strive and grind to get something better? It was nerfed to being just ok in PvP and nerfed to being useless in pve. That's the problem I have..

I fully agree with the post, I think ridiculous diminish the power of mytho, even more so that of this, honestly I think this horrible, "the hardest weapon to get the game" has to be the best, not no way, and totally unfair to those who fought hard to get, I hope to correct urgent !!

I said other because while it needed a SMALL nerf in pvp (simply to make it easier to learn to counter), the nerf should not have affected pve (my opinion)

It needed to be nerfed to some degree in PVP. In PVE, however, I think the gun was fine, it should have retained its incredible amount of power.

Definitely, too many people had it because of how easy it was to get due to the glitch. Although I wish they would separate pve and pvp nerfs rather than it affecting both.

Other: Yes, it needed a nerf but 34% is hefty, I'd have either dropped it 25% or just kept it as-is and ban'd it from pvp

Unfortunately I think it should have. A lot of people were getting it from just getting aetheon checkpoint and then pushing him off. They weren't actually completing the raid. I wish it wasn't nerfed but hey not my decision. So the whole they deserve it for doing the hardest thing in the game is out the window now.

no it was a possible reward for completing the hardest part of the game. there are other pvp weapons with more ridiculous stats.... i can think of another weapon with way op pvp stats. won't mention it though haha. i think people were Just mad they could not get it, and complained enough until it they finally got it nerfed. .. even though they did increase precision damage on it. the nerf is not as bad as it sounds

In Crucible I honestly felt bad for anyone who was not using this gun. It was way too overpowered. Even in PvE I felt like it was amazing.. However they should compensate the damage nerd with at least providing us more ammo. Otherwise this gun is useless in PvE, which is what most people wanted it for. It burned through ammo like crazy already, and now that the damage has been reduced it is way worse. I did the hard mode raid today and used it for the confluxes for 1-2 tries, and I realized that this gun is just nothing compared to what it was. I used the suros and vision of confluence and I had much more success with those guns. the suros is still way better for PvE, or the vision of confluence(legendary, sad) Next thing you know people will be crying to nerf scout rifles.

Should it have been nerfed? Yes. A million times yes. It was stupidly powerful and easy to use. However, it was nerfed WAY to much. I played around with it today and it is pathetic how ineffective it is now. For a gun that requires you beat a raid on hard mode, it's not worth it what so ever. Yes I know many people cheese the boss but that doesn't excuse making the gun severely outclassed.

I can assure you, I didn't come out of raid more powerful. I just got walked on whilst using this vex gun. I either suck or the SUROS needs a massive nerf.

Well , thanks BUNGIE for taking the one good gun and turning it into a shit show , I like spent so much time doing the hard raid and you nerf the mythoclast way to kick a dude when hes down But hey give the bad kids what they want Just GIVE ME SALVAGE

I voted other. I say yes to Nerf it for PVP only, but maybe half as much as they did. They basically neutered it for both game modes.

Yeah i think that mythoclast was way too powerful like why would you ever use anything else on pvp or pvp,ok if nightfall has void or arc burn you might change your primary for that one strike but thats about the only time.but the 34% is ridiculous now there is little or no sense using VMC.and you come out from hard raid way more powerful?yeah meaby if the rng gods are smiling upon you.i have done the normal raid many times and hard raid bunch of times and only raid gear i have gotten is the chest piece..
