Did you happen to miss all the warnings that the game is still in development and subject to change?
A year out and the specifics are still up in the air, if you believe that crap you have problems... Hell there was even a beta which gave you 1/4 of the game for free to see if you enjoy it.
Stories pacing is off is all, and Dinklage failed to inject any urgency. Its meant to be read as a high octane sprint from start to finish during the most desperate time in humanities existence. The MMO features undermined the story like all MMOs do, having to go to a hub to do anything is stupid and sucks immersion.

Again, don't be obtuse. As developers they control the message, and message. They advertised a large number of things we did not get. Including new content which has been nothing but rehashed content under new names

LOL. Are you really saying, after all the hype, did I read the FINE PRINT? That's like saying you bought a car because it was shown in one condition with all these features and get a junker. But the fine print says "features subject to change"

Anyone who believes the hype is a chump. It's every games companies goal to stir up interest not Bungies fault they succeeded and people started pushing their expectations onto a product they had seen very little of.

Yes it is. They allowed the hype, they created it, it is their responsibility to meet it. If you believe otherwise your a chump. And the only way a new IP with a '10 year plan' can succeed is to wow players and keep them engaged. Destiny is failing almost completely in that regard. Just among those I play with, and their friends, over half are done and won't buy the dlc. About a quarter bought the dlc with the preorder, and most regret it. This does not a franchise make. And once cod is out PvP players will be leaving in droves

Gonna generate hype that your gonna win a Nobel prize and then ridicule you when you don't. Your friends are not a representative group of players, I know loads who are still playing and can't wait for the dlc, and my impression is just as meaningless as yours.

No matter which way you look at it, there is a firestorm going on about this game. Which means the number of players upset about it is NOT tiny. So my friends are representative of a very large percentage of destiny purchasers...and I'm talking about a group of over 40 people, with varying ages, backgrounds, and gaming interests
