Absolutely appalled with the Iron Banner...
Wow, just fininshed a game and had a 5.0 k/d and we won, I got nothing and the worst player went 0.15 and got a mote of light and gauntlets!!! Guess Ima gonna be the worst player on the team from now on....thank you RNG and Bungie....

Your reward was marks and rep. Not items. Items are a bonus-spin at the end of a game. If you can let go of the narrow-minded idea that you require a random reward for every game you play you will be much better off.

Honestly why would you play for rewards, play because its fun and the rewards are just a bonus

Because you came on top, you are doing ok with skill and equipment you already have, so you don't need a reward, your reward is being on top. Now throwing some potenial good items at those that didn't do so well, will being them back and maybe next time have a better chance to give you more of a challange. Thus creates a more fun and balanced world which will restore the light.

Got killed instantly by a level 20, I captured as much as I could. But here's the rub, I did the worst in my team, I'm admittedly useless at this. I got the rewards at the end an exotic and engram, the kick ass leader got NOTHING. That can't be right surely?

This doesn't differ in any way from playing the normal crucible. Got spare time, log into a crucible match and walk away from the game, you will still have the same chances of getting a legendary/exotic

7 RepliesI'm looking forward to only playing this for gear. I suck at PVP, I hate PVP, you don't want me on your team. Yet, I will still play because of the way the loot system is designed.

look at it this way, the game realizes he needs help more than the first place guy so the guy in last get the gear to help out. or you can just deal with it. its a game. its not like he can turn it into real currency or anything like that.

Deal with it. Rewards for pvp are REP and Marks w/e those other rewards are random bonuses.

Its for fun. Loot is fun but play strikes if you want loot that bad or just suck it up and pray to the rng gods.
