PETITION: Allow 2 fireteams to join the same patrol
I'm not asking to expand the size of the fireteam.
Just allow a squad of 6 friends to join the same patrol instance.
If it has to be split into 2 fireteams, so be it.
Make enemies harder if you like, whatever needs to happen.
I just want the game to know that when I'm entering "patrol" with a squad of 6, to split up into 2 fireteams and join the same instance.

4 RepliesThis won't happen. So many people are asking for larger Fireteams and Bungie probably won't change this. Raids are for 6 people for a reason. They only want you to travel with 3 people because the game has been balanced to support that. In order to have larger groups bungie would need to go back and rethink all the Strikes, Story missions and difficulty of the enemies while out on patrol not only that rebalance the Dynamic events that occur too. Actually think about how much work this would be before creating/signing a petition that really, probably, won't happen.

Bungie...Halo to THIS? 3 friends...I mean...3 FRIENDS??? We can't even do 2 teams of 3? Limited, small minded, last gen pile of garbage.

3 RepliesYou can do this... Have the leader of one fire team join the leader of the other fireteam. Start the patrol and then have one of them leave the fireteam. Now invite players to their respective fireteam.

This would be a great idea man but the servers would most probs die trying to keep everything on the game. it would have Battlefield 4 netcode issues :c

Agreed I don’t know if this if this has been fixed since the beta but I found it a shame that when you are in the travel map and it says that a friend is at the tower for example. So you travel to the tower but they are not at the same tower, different server/room/load or whatever. You can’t seem to just wander up to a friend on free roam without joining their fire team first.

Yes please. 3 people is too little. We always end up having to split into either 2 and 2 or 3 and 1. Today we split into 2 and 3.

fantastic idea, or even increase the size of a fireteam. I think 6 would be perfect.
