Can anyone leave their methods for getting out of school. I don't plan to make this a habit, It's just for launch day. And if you leave comments about missing education, my school has a make up work system for kids who are absent. Also before you assume I'm an immature kid, I'm a junior in highschool. And if you're going to comment "Just stay in school, Destiny will be there." Thats not what I'm asking for so don't comment. Any ideas? [b]EVERYONE STOP REPLYING TO THIS POST! 2 RepliesJust don't go. You're a junior, if your parents are that strict to where you can't even miss one day of school then that sucks ass.

1 ReplyColor your face with a yellow highlighter, pretend to be ill, ask to be excused to bathroom, then poor a can beef soup down the back of your pants, then report your "accident," then go home. Build your Guardian. Become Legend.

Stay in school man. Destiny will always be there for you, you just have to have time for after school to play it. Do what I'm going to do, whoop the homeworks ass in the morning and during school so you don't have to come home with destiny right next to you but you are doing homework. After all, it's going to be like a 3 year game, so 1 day out of more than a thousand is really little, and besides, you have the weekend to catch up and thanksgiving break, etc.

Ah yes school... Depending on your school you should just go to class. When you get home and finally get that sweet case and gently put the disk inside your console you will moan so loud that wizards could hear it from the moon. We've all been waiting that long. It will feel great, wait for destiny. She'll be worth it when you finally put it in.

1 ReplyYou have come upon some people who have FALLEN and so you arent labeled a DREG of society, you helped them all to the hospital one by one.

9 RepliesYeah, you are our future, like everyone in school. Stay in school, getting out of it for a game is not the priority. It's really not hard. The game will be there when you get home.

2 RepliesSmash your balls in a dresser drawer Monday after school. That way you get the dr visit out of the way before release, get out of chores for a few days, and possibly some pain meds that'll make destiny that much cooler. Then if you don't take them all, you just sell them at school to recoup the cost of the game!

1 ReplyEating dog terds should do the trick

Step one: Go to school. Step two: When school is out, get out of school :)

3 RepliesEdited by Imchillinbruh: 8/24/2014 7:34:29 PMYou sound like someone who needs to get punched in the face. That being said just pants the biggest guy in your school. He will surely whoop your ass then you can get suspended and play Destiny.
Thats how you "get out of school."
Smash one of your hands with a hammer and be all "I fell" or something. That should get you at least a couple days off.
-
2 RepliesSeriously, in the grand scheme of things, skipping one day of school really doesn't matter a whole hell of a lot. but missing one day of Destiny will matter even less.

Call in sick, problem solved.

4 RepliesIn college, you just don't go if you don't want to go lol

Edited by Aurik Kal Durin: 8/25/2014 4:51:33 AMYou don't have to be an immature 6th grader to figure out ways to get out of school. I was a somewhat mature 9th grader when I found out I could get a day off by staying up all night; as a consequence, I would oversleep and not be able to get up in time. My mom would call them up and say I was sick when I did that, bless her... Just as well; I'll always remember my school days as an 8-year stint in Hell itself. Word of advice? Stay home. Play Destiny. Public school is bad for you.

I'm a senior in high school and ill tell you the same exact thing I did when halo 4 came out. The day before the midnight release (Monday) I told my teachers I will be absent the next day and they told me what I'd miss that day and some of them just gave me the work to do at home. This works most of the time but the whole parent thing and getting them to call the school for a excused absence is up to you.
-
The day it comes out I have a half day :).. And the day after, then exam break followed by holidays :):););):)
-
I think you should stay in school.

If you're parents have trust/let you be independent tell them you are sick and will be staying home today. Don't ask just tell them. It's better for you to rest and do the work with a clear mind than go to school sick and infect people. Hopefully you get good grades and they will be likely to believe you. Or just stay home and take the consequence. Lastly (this one won't work), tell them the truth, there is not a chance you will be able to focus that day because your mind will be on Destiny haha.

2 RepliesI'm just going to buy it after school on launch day, maybe play if I can. Then wait until the weekend to play for a week straight as I have fall break :)

I took night shifts at work so I wouldn't have to play video games with kids btw throw up and say you are to to sick and need to go home.
