How to get out of school for Destiny
Can anyone leave their methods for getting out of school. I don't plan to make this a habit, It's just for launch day. And if you leave comments about missing education, my school has a make up work system for kids who are absent. Also before you assume I'm an immature kid, I'm a junior in highschool. And if you're going to comment "Just stay in school, Destiny will be there." Thats not what I'm asking for so don't comment. Any ideas? [b]EVERYONE STOP REPLYING TO THIS POST! IT'S OVER A MONTH OLD.[/b]

First of all if you go to the midnight release tell your mom you are to tired also during the night hide your gaming console so she can't take it also do not play video games until she is really gone and if it works have fun (ps in my personal experience I just ditch school for the day and say I was sick and play video games)

I have an idea....just stay home. Don't go for a day. Is it a matter of your parents? I mean if your a good student and kid who cares. I would let any of my children stay home for a day if they were doing what they are support to do on a daily basis. Actually I think my six year old is going to go with me to the launch party at the local Gamestop at 11:30 pm on the 8th and I doubt he will be at school the next day. Simply because he loves games so much and I want him to be there. So I suggest you do something like make sure your chores are done, help out around the house without being told to do something, do extra stuff, clean your room, make sure all your work is done, and present your parents with a good case for yourself. I don't imagine any parent who sees a kid apply themselves at all aspects of their life would care if you took one day off. We are talking about maybe 6 to 8 hours.

4 RepliesBut seriously, if you can't get out of school, just start the downloading process before you leave (if possible) and it should be good to go when you get home! Those few hours would suck but in the grand scheme of things it really isn't very long to wait :)

Drink a cup of orange juice and a cup of milk straight after, the day before and after about 10 minutes, get physical. Jump around, run around, exercise. The juice and milk will mix and you will vomit. I honestly did this in my later years of primary school and it worked every time. Then make sure your parents see the vomiting happen. Take that day off and pretend vomit during the day (if anyone is home). The next day, go to your parents and say you still feel too weak to go to school. Bam. Day off again.
