My GF won't let me play DESTINY.
My girlfriend has officially said to be that I won't be allowed to play Destiny , because I neglected her during the Beta?
She starting shouting all this nonsense that "I missed my childs birth, we don't make love and when we did, you would say all this creepy stuff like, your Exo **** are so turning me on right now, you don't shower, shave or even go out."
I was like this women is cray cray (crazy) so now she's like if you play Destiny I won't pay bills anymore, b**** right?

2 RepliesI have a hard time believing that this is an honest story. My wife yelled at me because I wanted to play the beta instead of massaging her aching legs... For those who do have actual relationship issues caused by video games: You have to ask yourself if it's the games or if it's something else that's the real problem? In my many years married and in long term relationships: things you enjoy ended up being the first thing another person will try to use against you when they get mad at something. The best solution to significant other aggro is to be really nice to them. Be kind, loving and supportive, and then when they get frustrated because you'd rather play Destiny that continue to binge watch Orange is the New Black on Netflix, you can point out how much you've given to them, and how they can pay you back by giving you some time to yourself. Or you can also follow some of the weird internet advice that borders on abuse or has been given by someone chronically single and doesn't understand how a healthy relationship work.

Dumped mine a week before the beta (just to deal with the several days of BS after) so I was clear, but she showed up the day of the Beta. Pissed me off and had to tell her why. GET OUT! I have a date with Destiny!

I don't know man... you did miss your kid's birth... I would die before I missed my kid's birth... How about this, you find a way to apologise to her. And if she accepts the apology, the next day act a depressed about not being able to play destiny. IDK where im going with this, you two just need to make up, your kid's future depends on it... and after you make up, just have a little chat about your gaming habits. And make shure that she knows that her and the baby come first. "As that is the way it should be anyway..." At any rate, just make shure that you two make up.

Lol. Get used to it. Women think they have to compete with your game system. They want to be the priority in your life. Come up with a plan for compromise and talk with her about it. I can't game as much as I like and if you want to be with her you'll do the same. I have a day for gaming and some time in the evenings. Only you can say if she is worth the compromise.

I cannot say that I know what you're going through. After all, my girlfriend and I played the Beta together and will even attend the midnight launch event together on September 9th. That being said, she does sound like she has some screws loose and your best option would be to talk it out in a civil manner.
