Best player name you've seen ever...try to keep it clean
My co-worker and I were talking the other day about band names. How people came up with them. I pointed out to him that players names would be great band names. So what is the coolest players name you've seen in your many years of gaming?

I have to say that when I would venture to the tower to hit the purple ball or activate the giant fan on my fireteam, the character names that I saw seemed to be a little classier than most games. Maybe it was dumb luck but my team and I would admire the names quite often. I saw far less "GenericDrugSexReferenceNumberNumberNumberYOLO" gamer tags than usual. Again, maybe I was just lucky, but it was nice.

Not sure if it was his actual GT, but a guy in a forum once called himself, [b]BananaPoweredSpaceElevator[/b]! I loved that one.

So when my Clan formed years ago we started on Lost Planet. When you died it would display the message "you've been killed by" and the best one ever was "you've been killed by a lil black kid" too funny.

It's hard trying figure out how to address someone in multiplayer games these days. Mine is short and simple 'Slimm City'. Simple names that can be read & shortened quickly helps out a lot while in the fury of a gun battle or something.

I figured it was just some guy paying for the name so nobody else could have it, and I brought this up in a gaming group I belong to on Facebook, and one of the members who works in the indusrty, said he would look into it since he knows a guy who works on XBL at MS. It turns out that H0RSE, is name used be XBL itself. I forget the reasons it did this, but basically it's a name that cannot be "freed up" and used by anyone, so I'll never be able to use the name H0RSE on XBL, which is the name I use everywhere else for gaming.
