What are your top 3 most wanted and REALISTIC changes for Destiny within the first 1-2 patches after release in september? Please be realistic and explain.
Realistic = things that can be done within the first patches after the September release.
Unrealistic = complete new games modes/classes/abilities, complete overhaul of open world maps with flourishing wildlife and NPCs etc.
You can add 1 unrealistic bonus wish for shits and giggles! :D
1) Better use of D-pad (AND touchpad on PS4) for things like a Ghost flashlight etc.
Console players are already plagued with limited control options. Please Bungie, don't waste the very important D-pad (and touchpad) for trivial things.
2) Reduced loading time
Because ... going into orbit is just a glorified loading screen right now.
3) Ledge grab
Because ... missing a ledge by a few inches and falling is so last gen FPS. Climbing ledges has become a kinda/sorta standard in the last few years in first person action games.
Bonus) My number one unrealistic wish for Destiny: 60FPS Crucible with optimized netcode.
Because ... trying to make the Destiny experience the same across all platform generations sounds like something a marketing guy would come up with because polls may indicate that sales on old gen consoles suffer if worded otherwise.
Its a pure business decision because current gen doesn't have the install base yet, I kinda understand. I just wished everyone would or could be honest about it.

Lmg primary weapon not the b high powered ar they call a lmg in the current heavy slot. Lmgs have higher damage but is balanced by high recoil, slower movement speed, longer reloads, close to mid range. I also would like a female voiced ghost in a pink shell preferably voiced by Claudia black (she voices Sam Byrne-gears of war and Morrigan-dragon age origins). My final realistic want is a guardian laser (yes I loved the Spartan laser)

I would like to able to use hand cannons as my special weapon, have bosses drop loot, and be able to deck out my ship with custom paintjobs, emblems, decals, wings, boosters, etc.

1 Reply1 Utilize rumble triggers on X1/touchpad on PS4. What is the point of these awesome new things on the controllers if you wont use them!? 2 Move snipers to the heavy slot. Give them plenty of ammo on pickup, but that way when you die in PvP you cant spawn back in with a full sniper. 3 Move hand cannons to the special slot, up their damage and lower their ammo cap. Decent weapon balancing.

2 Replies1. Heavy weapon ammo I notice there is a lack of ammo for the heavy weapons. The ammo can come in handy for dealing boss battles. It took me and my friends 30 minutes to take down the spider tank since we didn't have the ammo. 2. Assault rifle clip size Whenever I try to get a kill in multiplayer I run out and have to reload and I get killed. Its happens pretty much all the time.

1. Handcannons. Should be. HAND. CANNONS. Buff that shit! 2. Unredact the grimoires! Like 70% of all those cards I unlocked are blank online! 3. Finally and most importantly PLEASE modify the loot drops!! I can't tell you how many times during the Beta I almost missed awesome loot cuz I thought it was ammo I didn't need!! I'm not asking for much, just a light beam rising off the drop, or a pulse? Please.

1.) More loot/glimmer. 'Nuff said. 2.) A form if map. I get lost. A lot. All the time. 3.) Either more missions in explore or events that aren't pvp.

1. Fine tuning the net code so that there aren't as many issues in the pvp with hit detection, hit registration and delayed deaths. 2. Get rid of the motion sensor on the minimap for pvp. It's takes away the strategic aspect of using flanking maneuvers and being patient to sneak up on enemies and turns the game into a mindless run and gun. Not to mention if the match takes a one sided turn you never have a chance to re group and try and sneak around and turn it around because they will always know where you are at or are going. Would really like to see this removed or at least have it where you only show up doing any kind of combat or running within a very close distance. 3. Make uncommon and any loot rarer more noticeable for pick up or some kind of sound indication something decent just dropped so it is more apparent. Those little cubes all blend in together. :p

1 ReplyA few realistic things. 1. The health bars on the enemies could have a bit more snaz than just your standard box. 2. Dont hold the command button for so long to initiate travel. Unrealistic: 1. More caves in the maps. 2. More melee options depending how your aiming at the time you melee. 3. I have noticed the armor is different for the classes. They should have the guns look different as well. Integrate a trade option or barter system for players, that way all the gear you pick up in the map or decode at the tower may not be for your class. Maybe barter with another player or teammate for the gear for your class.

1 Reply1. Smarter Ai with different spawn locations and more active behavior in explore. Instead of just standing in the same spot...every time... just looking around. 2. Balancing the pulse rifles on PvP to make them more effective. I feel like only assault rifles and scout rifles(rarely) are used in the crucible. 3. This random but why is it always such an easy win for Alpha team in the crucible. Any map. Every time. I feel like there are definitely matchmaking issues or something off balance.

1) orbit mini game, nothing too extreme 2) one more armor set for each class 3) some interesting warlock bonds aside from holograms. I would like to see maybe a banner hang from a bond similar to a cloak Bonus) humping emote, just to mess around with my buddies and a mighty taunt in crucible

Realistic 1) Improved enemy AI. No explanation required, see other comments below. 2) Longer respawn times for loot chests (to curb "glimmer farms") 3) Team chat in pvp/strike. PvE proximity chat isn't really necessary unless it comes with a mute function. Unrealistic (maybe) Link the general section of the vault to the Vanguard shop for quick sale of spinmetal (and whatever the other 3 resources are)

I only have 2 realistic ones: 1. Team chat in PVP and Strike. 2. Proximity chat everywhere else. Of course, both should have mute options, or a Fireteam-only option. BONUS: Easier time forming fireteams, from not being kicked to orbit to your ship swooping in and spawning next to your team leader. This probably has 0 chances of happening, but I can wish.

In Thief on the PS4 they had this thing you could turn on so that when you moved the controller your reticule moved too. So what I did was set that to the tightest I could, got close with sticks, then did the precision stuff with motion, and it was so good. Obviously the seasoned console shooter people will be like "l2p noob hyuck hyuck /teabag", but not all of us are great at shooters, so having another option to level the playing field would be great. 2) Balance the spider tank in the first Strike. Imo, it is disproportionately stronger, both in damage and hp, than the actual boss you came to kill, and so it is kind of annoying. I'm fine with the one shot main cannon, and since you can actually destroy the blue goo shooter attached to the main cannon, that is fine too, it just takes forever to kill hit. So either it needs less HP, or the last boss needs to be harder (which it probably should be anyway.) 3) Changing this one since hand cannon was mentioned, and I thought of something incredibly more necessary. When joining PvP (if it doesn't) and strikes, and likely raids where you HAVE to have more than one person and you can get them from matchmaking, the people that you are supposed to be playing with, should automatically be put into one fireteam, even if the fireteam is then disbanded at the end of what you are doing. Imo, there is absolutely no reason for this not to already have been put in. Alternatively, though they should still auto fireteam you, they should make it so inviting someone to your fireteam mid-strike doesn't boot them out making them reload back into the strike Let's see...something unrealistic...ummm...a level cap of 100 with subclasses and skills and everything.

2 RepliesDpad-up brings up a mini map, down brings up a chat window, right brings up all of your social emotes, left is for consumables in battle. or just full customization on the dpad. ledge grab is just crazy to not have in. I don't want this to be one of my three because it's so trivial. fire team chat in pvp with randoms. this is a no brainer. I don't care about squeekers, assholes, maggots, or low life trash ruining any experience by talking junk or playing awful music like drake in the lobby. MUTE FTW more weapons. if you are seriously only going to have a handful of primary and secondary weapons that all sound the same than that shit is lame. or let us combine weapons to make something crazy or terrible. this game is going to be awesome, but it will take some time. I truly love it and I can't wait for it to come out. since they have already bit off of a lot of MMO's, they may as well put more of those things in to make this work.
