I envy all of the Xbox players...
As a playstation user, I already played the beta and alpha. I'll tell you, destiny is like heroin. If you've played it, you can't not want to play it. Games like watch dogs have no meaning anymore. I tried to play CoD or Battlefield, but playing them to try to curb the destiny withdrawals is like huffing glue when you need some sweet sweet crack.
So don't be jealous of us, xbox players. We should envy you. You Don't know what yesterday and today feels like. Video games have lost meaning. I urge you to enjoy today. As it's most likely your last day of being sober from destiny before you too with be addicted as we are.
Edit: Now that all of you xbox players have played as well, I'm sure you understand completely what I meant.

DUDE SERIOUSLY i tought i was the only one, it is so true i was depressed with watch dogs, i can't think about when Beta ENDS. I want now my Ghost Edition ill sell my x360 and all my games, no kidding

2 Repliesthe sad thing is it actually is true lol. The im addicted is because i havent played a great shooter since Halo 3 and it has the feel of Halo 3 with a killzone kind of kick to it. Not to mention the MMO aspect where everyone can uses their own stuff so it limits people from only experiencing one part of the game if they want to do good in matchmaking.

my first player shooter career in COD has in no way prepared me for DESTINY. i am truly awful especially in the PVP, this game will be legendary like the way we spoke of DOOM all those years ago.

Right after Destiny went down (like 5pm here in the UK) I loaded up Killzone on my PS4, sat back, selected my class and spawn location, and then proceeded to get thoroughly destroyed because I was so used to the Destiny layout that I couldn't play it to start with, and then it just didn't feel the same. I quit after that and am just sitting in a corner shaking and waiting for the servers to come back up...What the hell am I going to do between the 28th July and the 9th September ffs?!?!? [b]That's 43 days without any sort of Destiny fix!!!!![/b]

Between this (for my FPS fix) and GTAV (whenever it comes out for PS4) I'll be busy pretty much til next year at least. I buy few titles so I want bang for buck. Except stories like Last of US if it doesn't have staying power I drop it like a bad habit. I am glad Destiny seems to give me what I need PvE wise for a FPS. I have little reason to ever goto another FPS for the rest of this generation if this is as good as I think it will be.

It sucks Sony got it first, but it's really good to know the game is worth it. It actually gives my pre-order meaning. I'm installing now, if this game lives up to the hype, I may have to upgrade my version of the game.

I just got back from watching planet of the apes and hanging out with my friends. I told everyone, parents included, I will not be answering my phone and I will not be having any contact with anyone most likely so don't be alarmed lol. I'm currently installing the beta now and may just pass out and grab some sleep for a full day of play in the morning.
