Have you ever had one of those moments with games where you were just like " that's violent " Sure there are a lot of violent video games out there but which one was just a bit over the top. Mine would have to be Naughty Bear. Sure they are teddy bears and there no blood or anything but think the way you killed the teddy bears is what set the bar for me. it was a pretty obscure game but your main goal in the game is just to kill other teddy bears.

3 RepliesI don't like censorship, but scenes like No Russian in MW3 was a bit much. I don't want to change a persons artistic vision or their message. But I feel like that was more for shock value. I'm sure it being discussed helped promote its sales too. I feel like that's cheap and dirty. Adding lots of blood doesn't bother me. A fountain pouring out? Fake and over the top. But if it's a lot and realistic, gross. Lol. When I get high I don't care for violence. Lol peace bro! While playing a FPS TDM for example, I put the controller down and think, why are we all fighting dudes? Can't we all get along? So violence bothers me more then. But violence in video games doesn't make me feel uneasy to be realistic.

Watch dogs while I was running around killing police and civilians by the dozen

Surprised no one has said Outlast yet.

I could never watch Issac Clark be disemboweled or killed in any of the Dead Spaces when a Necromorph executes you, too horrible for me. The feeling of helplessly watching as one shoves a blade through this eye socket and out the back of his skull as another goes up his ass is 2much4me.

Every single Dead Space!

Pong.

Edited by Noble: 7/21/2014 1:54:27 PMDefinitely Gears of War. And Skyrim.

MG: Revengence. The way you dismember enemies. It's cool and fun but when I start to think of slicing people into bits I get weird "damn, I'm having fun with this?" Thought.

Manhunt.

Minecraft.

Only the moment you shove the eye needle into your skull in dead space :p I loved it!

1 ReplyGears of War series (that's way to much blood for one body...) Mortal Kombat (the x-rays are a bit much in my opinion...) MW2 (god damn "No Russian") Assassin's Creed Revalations/3 (those kill streaks are freaking gruesome!) Halo 4 (the composing scene was shocked the crap right out of me) Last of Us (wow...) Now I'm not saying they're bad, but those scenes are crazy...
-
When it comes to gore I have to go with Manhunt or Dead Space.
-
Oh! Kane and Lynch 2 had some disturbing parts. I can't recall what part(s) as I didn't finish the game. Not from being violent, but because gameplay got boring.

Edited by Jphn_33: 7/21/2014 5:09:23 AMDead Space death scenes, across the series. Seriously, some of that crap is really disturbing. The Last of Us is also incredibly brutal. The only thing I can say is I'm glad Naughty Dog didn't put in more for the Bloater death scene.

The last of us!! My favourite game of all time. Also mortal combat

1 ReplyExecuting people with the shorty in TLOU multiplayer and their head turns to pulp :D

I thought the new mortal combat was disgusting, yet I'm perfectly fine with gears of war and dead space.
