He has chosen to speak this way to this Community for months now, because otherwise there would be no news on Bungie Day or in the BETA that we didn't already know. We are preparing for a journey that only BUNGIE can give us. They have never just made a game.........they make a Universe. I am once again ready for passion and gripping emotion in a world that is foreign to me. 2 RepliesMy birthday is Bungie Day!! Asked for a new headset... And can you guess what for? DESTINY!!! The BETA is so close I can almost taste it. I just watched the Destiny Reveal Trailer, it was so long ago, but it still gets me more and more hyped every time I watch it. Can't freaking wait for the BETA!!

10 RepliesDeeJ, one additional thought I would like to add…I am slightly concerned that some of the class abilities (gunslinger, etc.) will be unbalanced in multiplayer, and thus lead to an overwhelming majority of Warlocks. With that being said, I have full faith in you and the rest of the Bungie+Activision team! My friends and I truly cannot wait! Many of us have shared these awesome experiences together since we were much, much younger. I was at my best friend's house nearly a decade ago when he introduced me to Halo 2, my first video game. Within a week, I had ordered Halo: Combat Evolved and began to immerse myself in this mysterious collection of adventure and beautiful worlds. My friends and I are excited for Destiny, and we cannot wait share such experiences again, as we embark on a trek across uncharted worlds once more. Regards, Echo. My body is ready.

A whole lot of us would like to name our characters. I know I'm already asking too much for the 2 person split screen but still. Also if you can't give us the 2 person split screen can you at least rush it into Games on Demand? My other Xbox doesn't have a working disc drive lol. It'd be bad enough getting a new hard drive, let alone a whole new console.

1 ReplySo after playing the hell out of the Alpha and being so excited for the Beta and finally the eagerly awaited 09/09/14 I was going to thank Bungie for the amazing game... then I realised that my wallet in this instance will do the talking, I will no doubt be buying every bit of merchandise I can get my grubby little hands on (saving's account built up and on stand by), but I really need to see what editions are available! Please, please, please let this information be out Bungie day! I need a big statue of a Fallen Elite (four arms being better than two) to hang doughnuts on whilst I play!

4 RepliesGreat update as usual. DEEJ, please relay to your fellow employees that it's very important to be able to name your characters in game. I made my PSN ID years ago without ever having to use it as my name in a game. It is not a name that I want to use. It will kill the immersion factor for a lot of players I'm sure. Destiny has some MMO type elements and naming your character is a big deal. If you can't do that then how about working out a deal with Sony to allow us to change our PSN ID :)

3 RepliesI know that the beta progress won't carry into the final game but what about beta recognition, are we getting class specific vanity pieces to show we were beta testers or something similar and if so do those carry over across platform since I intend to play with my friends on the 360 but my final copy version will be on the ps4. Also, potato?

5 RepliesMe and my brother share an account and console so we'll both have our own character on Destiny. Will the in game money (glimmer) be transferred to other characters through the vault like armor and weapons or will it be transferred between characters whether we want it to or not? It would be cool to have it transferred through the vault so that the glimmer that I earn will be mine and not "oh that's what me and my brother earned." Thank you Bungie and keep up the good work!

5 RepliesHey Deej, (if you ever see this question....) how has lag (or in my case, a high ping/latency of ~1200ms) been handled in Destiny? I'm curious because I don't want to join a public event and then start lagging in my own game... I hate satelite internet and I know my dad will never change it (he's oldschool, and doesn't use the internet- or even computers & video games.... and I'm only 16..). Will people with bad connection have a terrible lag delay when in a public event/multiplayer? I hope not, because lag's the reason I stopped playing competitive multiplayer, it's unbearable and holds you back by so much... Otherwise, I'm pysched for the beta!! The wait is killing us all.
