Pretty sad if you ask me

Game: no shit it sucks Movie: I loved it but if I didn't love spidey so much and I didn't know a good deal about the lore surrounding him, then I may not have liked it as much.

1 Replylol TASM2 is 10x worse than Spiderman 3. Raimi just needs to come back already and do Spiderman 4 for pete's sake.
-
2 RepliesWhy are you listening to critics? The only critic I ever listen to is Yahtzee, and that's only for the comedy factor.
-
6 RepliesSpiderman 3 will get a bad score too. They -blam!-ing cut all of Shailene Woodley's scenes.
-
5 RepliesThe movie looked horrible to begin with also what's the villan's hate on spoider-mang?
-
I don't even bother to listen to critics. They overanalyze and ruin the movie for themselves.
-
7 Repliesthe movie was rated 90 by the fans. critics suck ass. i literally just got back from seeing it and it was absolutely amazing
-
The game is complete shit. Incoherent story, glitchy-as--blam!- webswinging. Combat is terrible. I just platinumed it, worst 12 hours I ever spent. The movie was okay. Just surprised they stayed with the comics. And it's looking good for the Sony cinematic universe, if you ask me.
Sinister six, bro!
Edited by Derp: 5/4/2014 4:49:32 PMCritics and reviews should be taken very lightly. They should simply be taken as hints to where a majority of the harsh picky "professionals" stand. Movies and games are reviewed way too subjectively. You can scroll through the scores given by each critic who influenced the final score and you'll find an extremely large range of scores ranging from 0% to 100%. And really, it's almost inevitable. One person's game of the year could be the equivalent of another person's Ride to Hell Retribution. My advice to anyone would be to find a reviewer who appreciates the same things you do in a series or in many games. Like a reviewer who shares the same opinions as you / praises or hates the same features as you do. And a reviewer who shares the same favourite games and genres as you. Then you may trust them more when they review a game you haven't played yet.

Didn't like the movie, too much drama. Liked what happened in the end though

2 RepliesI have seen the movie twice...I have removed all bias from my thought process, and the movie is still great in my opinion. Everyone I ever ask agrees. All I see is critics being harsh and nearsighted
-
People still care about what Metacritic says?
-
I think it also has to do with the fact that movie critics... Critique harder than game critics. I'll give you an example. Name a more recent movie that has come out that you like. Even if you just like it a little, you don't have to love it.

1 ReplyI liked the first movie. It scored in the 70s I think. Sucks this one did bad. Not surprised about the game. There hasn't been a good Spiderman game in years.
