You look in the journal and find a sketch that loosely resembles the insect. It reads "This creature seems to be very mobile. Not only can it climb impossibly steep walls but also glide. It's skin is thick and hard to break. The only weakness I've found so far is that they seem to be deaf. I've been too afraid to check their eye sight for fear that they are hostile. I've only seen them eat greens so far, at least that's a sign that they are peaceful".

Continue through the forest.
-
Which way? Backtrack or go through where the tracks were?
-
Edited by Rhynerd: 3/20/2014 3:30:04 PMThrough where the tracks were. Heading back now would probably be some deadweight loss.
-
Heading through the forest you see what appear to be more tracks, only this time from more than one of the insects. They seem to be heading back and forth to the same general area.
-
Attempt to pass through as safely as possible.
-
You move as safely as you can but are seen by one of them. It starts to walk towards you slowly twitching it's head. (Stealth: 0)
-
Step away at a moderate pace, one hand near the magnum in case these creatures aren't peaceful.
-
It keeps walking forward it's pace slightly heightened.
Sorry man, my internets been going in and out for a while.
-
Fully draw magnum, attempt to escape it's field of view.
-
You run out of its line of sight. It loses you since it couldn't hear where you ran.
-
Continue through the forest as planned.
