People calling eachother 'fellow Guardians' and acting like it's a real thing.
Holy shit, it's a game people.

You mad fellow guardian?

Should we say Comrades in Old Russia?

1 ReplyIt's a community you idiot. What is the point of creating a game if you don't get sucked into the universe and become part if it?

come on squidward~

The constant worship of the damn game gets bloody annoying It doesn't even do anything new gameplay-wise and yet it's already "GOTYEY"
-
hey , I'd rather call some of these assholes my fellow anything , as opposed to my workplace where I am required to call the dumb bastards I work with my fellow co-workers .... now if you want you may resume killing the mood .... ya -blam!-ing killjoy .
-
People these days don't know how to have fun.
-
No one is holding a gun to your head to either play or post.
-
i think its cute lol
-
13 RepliesIt doesn't help that the game itself looks very meh.

What if this forum traveled through space and time and it is really a way for guardians to stay connected and you are but a mere mortal from the past?
-
Cool story bro, tell it again
-
What really annoys me is how people use the term "Mythic Sci-Fi" like it actually means something.
-
3 RepliesCool Story.

3 RepliesI'M NOT YOUR GUARDIAN FRIEND. HE'S NOT YOUR FRIEND GUY. I'M NOT YOUR GUY GUARDIAN.

You're saying that like it's the only cringeworthy thing here.

As weird as it is, it's not a concern... If anything it's what Bungie wants. It's positive. Some people just like that stuff. If you find this to be a concern then I don't know how you feel about the console wars and the trolling that happens on an hourly basis.

1 ReplyI could say the same for the Pokemon fagboy. But I have yet to see anything of the sort that you're talking about
-
1 ReplyI think the amount of 12 year olds is a bigger issue.

You should have seen it during the PS4 beta announcement. The amount of rustle almost destroyed my computer.

It is not a game, it is an experience. It is a community, it is a story, and it has a following. People have come together, and people will continue to come together. Why would you limit such a great social experience by saying, "It's only a game! You can't take it seriously!" Games bring people together, and make for a great way to bring out the artistic inspiration. Whether it is drawings and paintings, fanfics, a simple roleplay, or just using vocabulary like "fellow Guardians" and "See You Starside", the great thing about gaming communities, especially this one, is that they make it into something more than a game. It is even more than an amazing experience. When a community comes together like this, it becomes a world. Living, breathing, and always changing. Sure this forum has its fair share of trolls, fan boys, and uneducated people, but under that layer of ignorance and stupidity, there is a beautiful world being crafted, and I cannot wait to visit it. My body is ready. See You Starside, my fellow Guardian.

That is really true but some people I guess really get into the game. There is nothing we can do.

6 RepliesCalling yourself 'Punished Snake' is just so edgy and cool I can't help but agree and take your opinion with the seriousness it clearly deserves.

There are plenty of things on the forum to be concerned about or bothered by. One of the more harmless and positive aspects is not one of them.
