Because this is the fourth documented case where a user has stopped mid argument to say "muted" instead of accepting that they're wrong or just too idiotic to come up with a counter argument.
Literally four times, all in two weeks.
How often does this happen to the rest of the Flood? The mute button is meant for trolls and spammers, not people who you lose an argument with.

5 RepliesAfter ripping Heimdallr a new one and having him mute me before I could properly rip his ass open some more, no it doesn't. It just shows you're too much of a coward to admit you're wrong and you thinking you got the last word in with no possible way to respond is you winning, no you just ran away like a child. That's like a Presidential Candidate saying "You're wrong, here's [False X]" and he runs away before his opponent can rebuttal.

3 RepliesYou should be more interested in having quality discussions than winning an argument. If someone mutes you because they do not like the way the discussion is going, regardless of reason, is losing them as a discussion partner really that big of a loss? Are they worth your time?

I've muted Camnator several times but since he always ends up making a new account it feels pointless no matter how many times I kick his ass.
-
Means they just lost.
-
People like that are under the classification of dipshit.
-
This one finds it laughable that you care so much.

The mute button can be used for whatever reason I want it to be used for. Period. Muting doesn't win an argument, I don't know where you came up with that, it clearly ENDS it. It's not a hard concept.
-
Considering they don't respond to you anymore, yes.
-
Mute = Ragequit
-
Doesn't happen to me very often because I never get into arguments with those sort of people to begin with.
-
It won't win an argument but it certainly ends it.
-
Muted.

If refusing to reply counts as winning too...
-
No, it's a means of surrendering.

Yeah, you're a pussy if you mute people like that. I only mute people when they post say an, "argument" that's literally unfathomably stupid. I realize their a stupid person and it would be a horrible waste of time to educate them.
-
If you spend your time on the Internet looking for arguments to "win", then you've already lost.
-
I only use it for spam or annoying posts.
-
6 RepliesLol, he just did it again to me.
-
Only if you're arguing whether or not muting is for pussies.
-
I only mute when people make those huge blank posts. It crashes my iPod. In general I don't mute.
-
39 RepliesI probably have 2,000 mutes on my 90ish accounts.
-
no...because others cant see the epic battle.
-
For my sanity, yes.

Camnator is undefeated!
