(Destiny finally here!!) What class are you most likely gonna start off with and why?
I wanna know what classes you guys and gals are going to start off with and what race. I am gonna be a warlock that is my ultimate decision but I haven't decided on race yet. Also tell me what part you are mostly excited for. I can't wait to see more of those player events like the spider tank that thing was massive, I wonder of there will be events with 30+ players ahhh I have been so excited and the more I see the more I need this game now!

[Update 2] so obviously a lot of the stuff I said might be wrong by now but still feel free to let me know what you wanna be, I figured I am definitely moving towards being a exo warlock. A robot wizard]
(Update 3) its so excited drawing ever closer to the release of the beta and the actual game. I never expected that when I made this it would have so many people comment and reply and sharing there ideas, I really appreciate all the support from you guys! And a shout out to MrBurns for being a cool supporting guy! You rock THIS THREAD!
(Update 4) Im so excited guys and im so happy that the beta was released and we were able to get a real feel for what the game is like and even though we all had our ideas it seems bungie knows very well the direction it wants to take the game. I am more excited than ever. Thankyou Bungie!!! And i wish all of you a happy Destiny day on Tuesday!

7 RepliesAwoken Titan- My Squad consists of two Hunters and two Warlocks, not having a Titan would likely cause us to miss out on some strategic opportunities. As much as I'm excited for the actual gameplay (PvE to PvP is going to be heart pounding), I am also excited for the locations (space!), story/lore, and visuals. Kind of mishmash but I think that's because I can't really choose a favorite. I'm gonna have to give it to my non-gameplay category because it's 2v3.

1 ReplyIt's so hard to chose, at first I was like human hunter cuz of the bad ass hood and cap. But the warlock as a cool trench coat, and the Titan is just a all around deadly looking SOB, ahh first world problems.

1 ReplyHunters go with my play style I enjoy the focus on sniping and firing until you pull off that perfect shot. I also love the story of the hunters being the men in the wilderness beyond the safety of the city walls. I want to explore the world if destiny and it seems a good fit. Race I will have to go with Human. I think we have some great choices for races but for me the story of destiny makes me want to play as a human. Just because I get the idea of human struggle after the fall of the golden age. It's our planet and I want to take it back with the most relatable, in my mind, character.

1 ReplyI want to try out a human hunter. I was originally thinking of a titan but I find myself more attracted to the hunters style and specials. Though in the beta I will try all 3 to see what I like best, but the hunter is top on my list.

2 RepliesAt firs, I was going to start off with a titan in the beta, but since I won't be able to play I will start with my sooo loved warlock. It's all about SPACE MAGIC! Although I like how their gear looks.

7 Replies[b]Warlock - Undecided Race[/b] [b]Reasoning:[/b] I prefer playing those classes that sharpen your focus. Titans have an armor ratio of 80% armor, 20% cloth. this reasoning leads me to speculate Titans will be able to handle more incoming damage that Hunters or Warlocks. Hunters are the Middle class, with what I beleive was a 60/40 Armor to Cloth ratio. The focus on them being their quickness and stealth. Warlocks are the 'Squishy' Class, standing at a 20/80 Armor to Cloth Ratio, and focus more intently on high damage, Area of effect abilities (Nova bomb and Solar Flare). This basically translates to Warlocks being the class you [i]really[/i] have to tread lightly with, as far as engaging in skirmishes. which is what I want. I wanna start out squishy so that I can get a real grasp of the conservative style of play, that way when I go Hunter or Titan, I can even further minimalize the incomming Damage I'll actually end up taking.

10 RepliesI'm going with a human Warlock. But a human hunter is a close second. I don't like the idea of an Awoken Warlock. Having a mystical race play as the class with the best magic is a tired cliche.
