Now that we have had a taste of the Xbox One and PS4 both and everyone here has probably had time to look them both over, what console will you be using in the future?
Any thoughts on the consoles or what you like best about them?

6 RepliesI pre-ordered a PS4 because thats where Bungie decided to reveal it...dont get me wrong im a big 360 fan and plan on keeping my 360, but as far as next-gen though I think I might go PS4. And is Playstation users still getting exclusive content for Destiny?

Edited by DannyB513: 7/22/2013 9:09:34 AMI will buy Destiny on the PS4. I will eventually get the xbox one, but waaaaaay on down the road because MS does not have a good track record with consoles on release. The failure rates on the original Xbox and the Xbox 360 are the highest in the history of video game consoles. Guess some people will buy the One and then another and another to help MS inflate their sales numbers like they did this generation, which is funny because even with a year head-start and the inflated sales due to RROD, Sony is still number one worldwide. Software company trying to make hardware....LOL

Xbox One, I am getting an Xbox One for the exclusive games an I see no point in buying a PS 4 for Destiny exclusive content sense that would be the only reason for me getting a PS4,

35 RepliesI'm going Xbox because 1: the ps4 had inferior graphics on par with what I would have expected from a second sting game on current gen. 2: they were incredibly childish about the rivalry with Microsoft attempting to gain appeal with the impression of sticking one over on them. 3: the ps4 lagged while playing offline (I mean common Sony this is E3 if you don't have your $hit together now you never will.). The Xbox however played a graphics intensive game while loading another in the background and on another occasion while streaming flawless Skype all without a second of lag. 4: the games they brought to the table were targeted at children and family's with a few exceptions such as destiny, and assassins creed. All the people I know who would even consider buying kingdom hearts or soul caliber are either five or wouldn't give up their computers for the world. Ill end the list here but it goes on and on.

4 RepliesEdited by Beelzeboss: 6/27/2014 3:37:49 AMBoth of these consoles will be awesome, and will have great exclusives.

Xbox One will be my first purchase mainly because I am very satisfied with the services the Xbox provides and I currently own a Xbox 360 which I use daily for games and /or TV and movies. The PS4 will be an additional purchase but that might change depending on Gamescom and what exclusive titles Sony or MS might reveal further there. MS has 15 more titles to announce and PS4/Sony additional 12 than the ones from E3. So thats where the ultimate descition factor will be, but leaning very much towards a X1 first. The step from 360 to its next gen X1 seems very natual.

2 RepliesI've been an Xbox 360 owner for about five years now, and I have to admit that I dislike what Microsoft is doing for the next generation. I am getting a PS4 rather than an Xbox One because I simply do not trust Microsoft. Along with them shoving kinect and TV down our throats, it is clear to me that Microsoft simply does not care about the consumer; they only care about their money. At e3, Sony showed that they are not willing to screw over their consumers for a few extra dollars. While Microsoft did retract on their DRM and used games strategy, the fact that they were going to use it in the first place sickens me and betrays my trust in the company.

I will be getting both don't know which will be dominant yet. Currently Xbox 360 is my main console. If Sony steps up then ps4 could be my new baby haha.

1 ReplyI wondering how comfortable the triggers are on the new PS4 controller. They should be good considering the developers were playing Destiny on the PS4 at E3.
-
3 RepliesXB1 for me and i'm actually surprised that XB1 has more votes, makes me happy that i'll have people to play with lol.

8 RepliesPlaystation 4, because I currently don't have an xbox live account and I don't want to pay for one.

5 Replies“Xbox One is designed so game publishers can enable you to give your disc-based games to your friends. There are no fees charged as part of these transfers. There are two requirements: you can only give them to people who have been on your friends list for at least 30 days and each game can only be given once.”

1 ReplyPS4. I had a Xbone preordered, but I cancelled it after Sony destroyed them at E3. This DRM thing is terrible. I still have my original NES, and play it all the time. What happens with the Xbone 15 years from now when it tries to ping the servers once a day? Will those servers run forever? There is no way. Will all my games expire some day because of that? Too many questions and terrible decisions by Microsoft. I LOVE the Halo series, but Destiny on PS4 will fill that void for me.
