What would you do? What do you think the factions would be?
My friend has a ton of rifles so I'd probably get some arms at his house. And to distinguish myself, I'd wear a Republican elephant. Since I already live in the south, I'm sure Ill find some more people who share a common interest. After that, I guess I'd just fight the other factions. Probably going to be some left wingers and people who want the union back. Frankly I'll be fighting for a Republican right wing nation. And die proudly for it.

1 ReplyYou thinking that California would be a push over is lulzworthy. California is the greatest contributor to the nations military. Not to mention that Hawaii (another blue state) houses the pacific fleet.

4 RepliesYou would proudly kill left wingers and your fellow citizens, wow a lot to be proud of.

Edited by Decimator Omega: 1/21/2013 6:49:06 AMStay and fight of course. What else can I do? Go to another country? Screw that. I'm defending where I live, and if I have to die for it then so be it. Keep in mind that I'm a democrat and I'm beginning to dislike the democrats thanks to Obama. I voted for him and I end up getting spit in the face. I might as well as end up being in the center because I cannot fully agree with both parties.

Edited by Porsche 914: 1/21/2013 5:41:12 AMI would move to Canada. Political parties are retarded and do more harm than good. Both sides seem to be unable to compromise on anything. Both sides have good and bad points, and need to balance each other. I may live in the south by that doesn't make me Republican.

2 RepliesIt would definitely be based around political ideologies. I'd be fighting for the Democrat/Liberal side.

3 RepliesOP... are you serious? You really think that if the nation was split on party lines that the Republican states would have a chance? Of the top 10 states by gross domestic product, 8 of them are blue states. Of the top 10 states by GDP per capita (DC notwithstanding, but it's number 1 and it's blue as hell), 9 of them are blue states. When you look at states by percentage of population over 25 with a 4-year college degree, the top 15 states are all blue and 12 of the 15 worst states are red. 15 of 24 red states are land locked and would not be able to received outside trade or help from other nations other than through Canada and Mexico unless it was airlifted to them (not terribly efficient) while 21 of 26 blue states have water-based connections to another country. The rest of the developed world (namely Europe) is much more left-leaning (by United States "left" standards) than they are right-leaning so it's unlikely that the "Republican States of America" would get much help from a country that could actually do anything for them. Not to mention the Republicans would have to worry about creating an entire government while the US would just have to amend an already-created one. The RSA has so many disadvantages it isn't even funny. The Blue States are richer, smarter, better ideologically connected with people who could help, better physically connect to people who could help, and better physically connect to people they can trade with. They also have the Pentagon, which is a pretty big advantage.

6 RepliesI still dont understand why the majority of southerners vote republican. People are poorer down south and republicans tax the poor much more than democrats. Then again hollywood votes democrat and the democrats tax the rich more so maybe it just illustrates that americans are idiots

You should read Empire by Orson Scott Card... It's a lot like what you're talking about.

16 RepliesKilling other people for something as trivial as a political alignment? You seem to know very little about what the principals and ideals the United States was founded on.

Laugh at the Americans killing their own people over stupid shit and get back to playing video games. This forum is so obsessed with war I swear it's unreal.
