2 RepliesEdited by Yosemite Sam: 9/1/2024 5:15:41 PMWhy are all the fans more toxic than the non-fans if you were to say on this forum??? You people who talk down on others on this forum every single day are the actual problem. I didn't get to read what the OP posted, but the truth here is I didn't even need to read it, and it shows all the stupid disrespectful comments and you guys have the balls to call yourself fans. What a joke a few of you are, and not a funny one at that.

Are there any situations where you (or anyone for that matter) will mic up and give it a go?? For me personally, I don't necessarily have social anxiety... but I'm socially inept, so socially reluctant is a better description. It's not the same situation, but I found no issues running with chill people, knowing in advance it was all chill. So, from a different perspective; are there any scenarios where this would be run?

16 RepliesI can’t see the original post but sorry these knobs seem to have gotten to you and you had to redact your post. There are players that understand the frustration and it has nothing to do with being “lazy” or wanting handouts. It’s just a request for another way. The good thing about these posts is they help me raise my block rank.

5 RepliesI totally agree ! I play with my brother and he is unable to complete some content. All other content allows for nonskilled players to be "carried" or guided through. This mission requires that both guardians be at equal skill level to complete. With us that's is never going to happen and we don't want to play with unknowns. We have never had a good experience with random team ups. This has always been the case with Destiny. I know I will get the just get good or don't complain that you aren't willing to put in hours or days of grinding. I'm not the target audience, which is streamers with teams of people playing for them or the thousands of teens that doesn't have life responsibilities yet, but I believe if I spend the money I should get the full game. In the end this is why Destiny is dying. I have played this game since Destiny 1. I have never completed a Raid due to this and never will. I enjoy the causal gaming sessions I have and have accepted that will will never have the best of the best weapons and armor but I am playing the game as I believe it was intended. I am sorry to see Destiny go but totally understand why. When you cater to the minority (Streamers) then your profits tank. For all those guardians out there who feel the same just know that you you were never alone!!

1 ReplyMy brother if you're this bad at socializing in games I've gotta ask if you have even one friend
-
I’m with you on this. But also not too fussed because I’m never taking my Lion Rampants off. FLYING BOOOTS!!
-
No. As someone that has social anxiety 30min is not going out of your way. Just have your mic muted till you actually need to talk.
-
Just put your headset on and get it over with, you can keep your mic muted for 90% of the mission and in my experience other players have themselves muted until it’s time to do mechanics
-
Hey, friend. What about Microcosm? Isn't it in the exact same situation as the class item? Why didn't it get a mention?
-
Another Dual Destiny cry post. If you can't handle even one other player, you should play SINGLEPLAYER games. FFS, Destiny is a MULTIPLAYER game. Life is tough, get a helmet.
-
Not these posts again!
-
Or just do the mission 1 time. If you can't handle doing the mission once, then why play a multiplayer game where a good portion of the game requires communication
-
No there doesn’t need to be a way. Social anxiety is a pathetic excuse. As someone who can’t walk into a room with people that I don’t know in it without 10 minutes prep time. Grow up.
-
1 ReplyThere really doesn’t need to be a way. Solo player here and I got it. No safe spaces. “Social anxiety” for an online game lol. Wow
-
3 RepliesDont use social anxiety as an excuse for lazyness. Nobody asks you to talk about your life to somebody in a lfg. All you have to do is join a mate/make a post. The only thing you will have to call/type or even stream if you are that lazy (so you dont even have to write or speak) Do that for 30 min then you can freely go back to your solo experience in a coop game.
-
4 RepliesGive it a rest.

Can't promise how long I am going to keep this up but for now, there needs to be an optional way for people with social anxiety to aquire a selling point of a DLC that didn't forewarn of said requirements
These solo haters being all indignant like Bungie making a solo option will keep Bungie from addressing the other glaring holes in the game 🙄.

Can't you just use text chat?
-
Take that shite off your post. Social anxiety FFS in a video game
-
If you get social anxiety from a video game my god your existence in the real world must be miserable.
-
I agree with this
