Hunter kit too strong
Solar nade has way too good of tracking, smoke nade prebuff was perfect but now it’s broken strong, stasis slow plus threadling clone… two threadling plus one smoke grenade pings radar if against 3 hunters there can be 12 pings with only 3 being the actual players. Warlocks have no competitive edge without Icarus because they are the only class that has no means to escape a smoke bomb. Hunter ability spam is higher than any other class. If you thought this was fair….. let’s put it this way, if there are 3 prismatic hunters on enemy team and you have only 2 you may have a chance… if you have no hunters you are getting -blam!- with a broken champagne bottle. Fix the game so that it’s fair for all classes, the kit on hunter was given all the best parts. As a warlock, we need to be able to grapple, blink, phoenix dive, and Icarus without having to give any of those options of movement up.

I fully agree. Ignore the people who say it’s balanced. Clearly just wanting to keep a unfair build in play.

8 RepliesHunter solar made tracks you even through and entire blink and sometimes has hit me with a bit after two blinks. The total damage is way too much for a zoning/tracking grenade that already applies scorch and slows health regen. Hunter smoke grenade is basically void suppress, stasis slow, and strips HUD and vision like a disorienting arc grenade. Too strong. It doesn’t encompass void identity anymore. The whole strand kit is a part of the kit. But titans are doing not so bad… with free amplified, knockout, freeze lance, and dodge. Meanwhile, warlocks only have slide melee as being a decent option and it is mainly for players that have some idea of how to use it where you target weakened players, not full health. Warlocks do not have a single one shot melee kit in a 1v1. Our prismatic kit is quite piecemeal, more so than titans currently in pvp, without any true movement like Icarus to avoid smoke grenades which have become the bane of all warlocks as of late. For the love of Destiny 2, please show the titans and warlocks some love because numbers are proving just how right I am.
