Please make it possible to get the Class Item Exotic solo, it’s not fair that every other exotic item can be obtainable.
It should still be rewarded instead of just getting it but you need to make another way to get it.

2 RepliesEsoterickk did it solo, if he can, so can you. Go check out his video
-
I also need all raid exotics made for a solo player.
it’s not fair that every other exotic item can be obtainable.
Not sure if worded badly or just stupid 🤔

Why do you assume things should be fair in the first place? What do you mean by "fair"?
-
You aren’t even high enough to start the mission lol

4 RepliesIt’s such a fun mission in the way it is designed. Making it solo would wreck it. Im pretty sure the silent majority would share this view. So it’s on you to change your view/attitude vs expecting the game to change to suit you. Plenty of folks out there offering to help. I’d be happy to take a couple through if they are struggling. There are some easy to get time crystals too that take off pretty much all time pressure and allow for some deaths / call out errors to not bust it.

6 RepliesNo it’s fine as it is. Grab a friend and spend 45 minutes talking to another human being. You’re welcome
-
15 RepliesYou don't solo dungeons. You don't solo exotic weapon missions. You do not raid. Some of your characters have no exotic armor pieces on. What do you need this for? You will never use this exotic and you will never have a reason to use this exotic.

4 RepliesI get you want to remain solo, I started off solo. But Destiny is a MMO, it’s there to be played with your friends and it is WAY better played with friends. Bungie knows this, can you remember when I think it was Cosmo who said:
Friends are the true endgame.
That’s why Bungie made Destiny a multi player game and why they try to forge friendships through activities like Dual Destiny. Personally I think it’s a good thing because the friends I made back in D1 are the reason I’m still playing Destiny today. Something I don’t think you realise is if they made a solo way to get the exotic class armour then it would put a end to all the possible friendships made through teaming up and doing Dual Destiny with someone else. You say you can get all the other exotics solo and I’d say for a MMO that’s accessibility and more than fair. But some loot needs to be kept for the multiplayer parts of Destiny and some loot like the exotic class items needs to act like a carrot to entice would be solo players to team up and hopefully make friends.

Step 1: Find an LFG using the multiple resources such as the app you’re on right now, in game, Discord, Xbox LFG, etc. Step 2: Do the mission & Talk to someone for 30 minutes (Ooh I know scary) Step 3: Profit and now you can farm solo for the mark in Pale heart all you want

19 RepliesEdited by Swoleson_Rebel: 6/18/2024 2:34:07 AMI agree. I have the exotic, got it first try on warlock and I can recognize it is a terrible way to gatekeep activity item that everyone was looking forward to trying combinations out on. It doesnt even make sense to make it a 2 player activity other than the light/dark theme. But Destiny is a 3 player game for almost all content besides raids and pvp. What is even worse is that the Pale Heart is actually a SOLO instance 😂🤣🤣🤣 Its a fantastically designed mission. But it needs a solo version of it that dumbs it down so its either solo or duo. The worst item they could have picked for a DUO mission was the CLASS only item 😂 in a SOLO instance of ALL things 😂🤣😂😂🤣 They honestly should let a 3rd player in for just the middle man theme of "combining" light and dark forces and that would actually make the mission make sense at least

First and only run I proceed star eater apotheosis and I have to say I don't wish to go back and do dual destiny ever again lol

13 RepliesEdited by iOawe: 6/19/2024 11:50:18 AMI agree. If the game isn’t meant to be done solo get rid of the rewards for doing a solo dungeon then. Also, if we all put in thousands of 1 star reviews on Destiny 2 and drop the rating, I bet bungie would at least try to figure out why their ratings are dropping. Get your friends and family to do it also.
-
Just find a team. Do the 30-45 minute quest. Then you can farm it solo.
-
It’s plenty fair, find someone to run it with or don’t get the exotic.
-
The only solo way is to first do the duo. After that it has a chance to drop from pale heart chests
-
Watch a guide and go on the LFG. Easy.
-
5 Replies1 - Not going to happen (unfortunately) 2 - Prepare for the influx of people telling you to "man up" and use LFG and do the mission.
-
15 RepliesYou can’t obtain every exotic solo? Have you soloed a raid?
-
That's just it. Every other. There are quite a few exotic missions that the avg player can't solo especially when a time limit is attached. Plus the whole point of this mission is the working together of both light & dark which is the beauty of it. If you need help running it feel free to hit me up. I am more than happy to help those with the dual destiny exotic mission. But we gotta stop this whole thing of we just need to make it solo available cause in the end there are still quite a few exotic missions that folks can't solo let alone still be able to do in a group, that is just the reality of things. But anyway, you wanna run it, hmu & I will figure something out.

2 RepliesI watched Esoterickk solo the Dual mission last night. He did it with running two accounts and switching back and forth. That told me to stop being lazy and find a partner to unlock the class item.
-
Agree make it solo or at least no need for a mic.
