I legitimately don’t want to use anything else because of how broken it is. It feels like I’m sabotaging the team if I don’t use it. Even if I’m on a non Solar subclass it’s potent. I think it’s time to tune it down

20 RepliesNerfing Incandescent would be the most ridiculous thing ever.
-
Why don't you just not use it?
-
I have a Trust 180 Hand Cannon with Incandscent, it is a beast, even more so with Lucky Pants and 3 Surge mods, a literal Man with The Golden Gun moment.
-
indandescent is fine, yeah is the best elemental perk but the other 2 perks need a buff especially voltshot
-
Incandescent deals the lowest of any explosion perk in the game by a massive amount. I think it's about 1/3rd of Dragonfly it then deals scorch for a few seconds which gets it to just slightly under dragonfly.
-
It’s a no from me.
-
There is a weapon with every subclass that does what incandescent does… Just this artifact raises solar builds up this season. So it needs zero adjustments.
-
2 RepliesI absolutely love that perk. Honestly, it's the only reason I run solar hunter. ##nightstalker4life

Please delete your account that is all 🤣 🤣

It already got nerfed. It doesnt need another one. You need to kill 3 or 4 enemies to cause an ignition with it.

5 RepliesThis is a dumb idea…..not to mention selfish. Bungie regularly changes the meta with the weapons. Remember the recent conversations about sunsetting and now the unsunsetting? If you don’t like a weapon perk….don’t use it….that’s your choice. The artifact is mainly tuned to solar…so naturally incandescent is meta. You don’t have to like the meta but my advice is don’t fight the meta. Don’t ruin my game because you’re tired of a weapon, perk, or otherwise. Play differently or play something else…..thanks.

The damage is so low that we have an exotic that triples the incandescent damage and it barely ever sees play. The most potent part of the trait is the cooldown gain and that only works for solar. A dumb try to get our weapons nerfed for wrong reasons, absolute L take

Nerf yourself chief.

How about no
-
How bout no

There is no way Incandescent is strong enough to actually warrant a nerf. I use it all the time on my crafted Calus Mini Tool and I have never seen it do anything that I would consider broken. It's good against low level trash mobs that are bunched up, and occasionally the scorch stacks can do good damage against stronger enemies if you can take out smaller enemies around it, but that's really it.

Edited by Ghostfire239: 5/6/2024 5:59:06 PMHow about never?

Never… nerfs are bad for the game… if anything we need more power
-
It’s fun but not that great. I defintly don’t use it all the time myself.
-
it's good because of the artifact, relax.
-
2 RepliesYou need Incandescent anytime But Voltshot is more fun
-
You won't be saying this when it's not a solar orientated season
