I think your players shouldn't reserve The Final Shape till April update...
If your April update ends up being poor, everyone should abstain from buying the expansion. You need to OVERDELIVER on April so we.can trust or be fooled into buying The Final Shape.

Well, I already cancelled my pre-order months ago after they nerfed orb gen on mods, nerfed exotics, nerfed 3.0 abilities and buffs and just neutered survivability altogether before season of the wish(bungie would stop nerfing everything that's fun in the game) released.

I typically bought the CE within minutes of its release since Destiny 1 was released.. TFS.. nope.. from what I see the last 2 years.... i'm not expecting much at all from Bungie. I havn't bought it yet and will wait to see what they are going to do for the players.. Tired of giving them the benefit of the doubt for years and being dissappointed. Even the CE the last couple years are full of garbage and certaily not worth the overpriced tag for it.

If there isn't either a new weapon type (and no not that healing auto rifle dogsht) or new darkness class even after a 4 month delay then I'm just gonna watch the Witness fight and raid to see how it ends and then be done.

1 ReplyDestiny has been delivering the same experience for about 10 years. I can safely assume I'll be getting a similar experience in year 11. I'm going to buy it. This game has been a solid 6/10 that i can't stay away from. Might as well be there for the the last chapter, the final Day 1 raid and give the witness a swift kick in the butt.

I won’t reserve until a week prior. I still haven’t even played this season, destiny formula is so broken it’s not fun whatsoever. The idea of playing battlegrounds makes me not want to play, and I know I HAVE to play the core playlist Vanguard playlist is the worse thing in destiny. If our guardians were fun to use maybe it would change my mind about the mode.

I don't understand why people still pre-order stuff. Has nobody been paying attention? At this point, if you pre-order you would probably also get your hand caught in a mouse trap because it has cheese in it.

Uhhhh that's literally impossible I'm not even trying to defend bungie's lack of quality but like that's not possible. They make seasons FAR in advance like we know Deep was far in development before Lightfall came out considering the leaks they likely only started making the april update when the delay happened at the start of this season. Rn they'd be working on the mid season update, april update, Final Shape and Episode 1, and likely Episode 2 possibly as well planning for Episode 3

Most of the "good" content takes more than a year to create. People crying "overdeliver" to a company that hasn't delivered in a long time is a joke. With any game not just Destiny people that are really into a series will pre-order. I did it for the mass effects game. I didn't care what content creators said. I knew the last one was gonna be bad. Didn't care. I wouldn't expect a lot from the next expansion. If you are new or still enjoying the game go for it. Us wait and see people will continue to do that.
