silence and squall’s terrible tracking

Can it get proximity detonation? It’s kinda ridiculous that it just spins around targets when you land direct hits. Edit:Somehow a lot of you don’t get it,I don’t mean buff the tornado or the tracking while it’s mid throw,I’m asking for a fix because the super is currently broken, every now and then if you hit someone directly with it they won’t take any damage,instead the super bugs out and spin around ON the target without detonating. Second edit:I added an old clip so people can see what I’m talking about,like I just said:it’s an old clip but it’s still happening. NOT ASKING FOR A BUFF,WE ARE ASKING FOR A BUG FIX. B U G F I X

      • Would love if they got rid of silence and just turned it into squall and squall. Throwing two tornados would be far more fun in both PvE and PvP. Also it would make up for how long it takes to use it. That being said, two tornados may need some… time restraints.

          • People need to stop asking for hunter buffs, they are broken enough as is, if anything they could use some lock and titan level of balancing

            • It works well enough when other people are using it. When I throw it, people can either just walk away from it or even break free after getting caught and walk away. If I’m only in the vicinity of it, I freeze and die immediately. Funny how that works.

                Yes it’s a bug. Yes it should be fixed. But for Christ’s sake, the bug occurs because you failed to hit your target to begin with. The problem is that the scythe’s tracking is too strong. If it didn’t track, it wouldn’t start orbiting a player at Mach Jesus when you throw it right outside of their hitbox. It doesn’t need more tracking, it needs zero tracking.

                • I just hate how it gets stuck on walls or doorways and has a habit of changing targets randomly when it's tracking. Also that various movements like dodge, shoulder charge, icarus dash can jump through squall or get out of its slow field.

                            Mmhm. The first Kama basically guarantees a kill for anyone who can barely aim, and the second Kama provides very effective area-denial. If anything, it needs an armor nerf because of the sudden spike in TTK, just like every other one-off Super. No player should be granted a free kill nor a get-out-of-jail-free card by simply executing a single action, Super or not. Moreover, I'm surprised no one ever seems to talk about this, but remember that old "nerf" to Silence and Squall in which the freezing by throwing the first Kama would "bloom out" towards its maximum radius rather than instantly across its area-of-effect? It still feels like that isn't happening; over several occasions, I have effectively escaped the expanding area-of-effect, if not visually, and still freeze. The Super is pretty deadly.

                            • my guy no way you are whining about silence and squall not being good i main stasis hunter in non trials pvp and its a wonderfully effective shutdown and area control super learn to aim, and dont panic super/super in line of sight of snipers and its wonderful

                                  I’d just update its tracking versus PvE combatants. Make it stronger in PvE but keep it as is in PvP

                                      • I’m not sure how you balance it, atm it feel like unless you hit targets with the sickles then it’s redundant but how do you make it better without breaking the game again? Maybe a vortex gravity affect that pulls target near into it might work as it wouldn’t break the game but also make it better in pve as well?

                                        • If I were going to pick a buff for Silence and Squall, I'd rather do one of the following: 1) Players can't Dodge or Icarus Dash out of it 2) Destroys Bubbles 3) Freezes or consistently destroys Well of Radiance
