Control checkmate? I see the appeal but not for me. I am older 50+ Pve is boring. I don't play to improve my skill. I don't care about kd. I don't even care about loot. I play to have fun and blowing up players is fun. My load out hasn't changed in multiple seasons because I like what I do. I peregrine greaves the hell out of people and smile when they explode. Most of my weapons have incandescent. Lasting impression rocket launcher is very satisfying. It can take a warlock out of their well. Love it when I am able to do that. I know I suck that is why I stick to control. Bungie you nerfed Peregrine Greaves and replaced control with a game mode that makes it difficult to get up close and ram my Peregrine Greaves down somone throat. Half the checkmate matches I didn't even get a super. I miss getting supers.😢 Gun play is not fun for me even if I get lots of kills. Its not my thing. I know its a part of the game and I am engaging with witherhoard and an AR until my melee builds back up. But I prefer just running in and shoulder charge and making a hunter go boom. Bungie said nope not anymore. I told my wife I think I am finished playing destiny because of the changes and she is so happy. Great job I have been trying to make her happy for 20 years but bungie did it in one day.
