35 oversoul in one run
Me and my friend were doing Croats end and he got 33 oversoul plus the two for his weekly. How did this happen and how can I do it.

Happened for me too on my 20th completion. I got 3 oversouls to finish my Necro requirement plus an additional 35. Shame I’ll never bother to play it again for the catalyst.

Small chance from killing crota, basically like getting a raid exotic to drop from other raids

Crota has a small chance to drop all the essence you need in a single run. The drop chance is as low as old raid exotic drop chances though.
