TBH, the fact ANYTHING cost multiple engrams is DOGSHIIIIIIIT

So how to we buy glimmer if they do that ? ,use cores ? ... Many times I have to buy glimmer to get raid banners etc...when on the fly. So now instead of shards we farm glimmer ? great ...thats going back to the pioneer days. Wonder if there getting rid of the sparrows for hoarse and buggy's too. Ok boyz mount up will get to the check point in say 20 mins. Honestly nobody is going to play this game if they add even more farm time. Its already sinking the ship. Well I was not buying the final shape anyway. Wont be able to play the raid and even see what I paid for it will have zero match making because of the heavy weighted down mechanics. There wont ever be match making past good ol hero mode . And dungeons are 3 person and have zero match making too .Why pay for a game that is so limited and bottle necked .its the end of the line for me at the end of the annual pass. Still having some very limited fun running strikes over and over but its getting way boring.

Destiny 2 has one of the most dedicated player bases in gaming. Bungie knows it and it’s just sad that instead of growing and rewarding that dedication they are just taking advantage every chance they get with shady monetization and completely unrealistic time investment expectations.

Honestly I had a little hope again by watching Blackburn's latest video on X (formerly Twitter). But whatever they say, very often, their actions are very different too. No offense, but Bungie lost it a long time ago... and they will continue to lose because of their "selfish" agenda.

It's not so much that they removed it as they offer no compensation or even ways to spend the thing It's clear that destiny 2 is treated as an outdated MMO rather than a loot shooter, your investment in the game could disappear at any given moment, since you ain't getting the loot and incentives enough to justify the playtime, the core of this game went from play and get rewards to play and get addicted They have been consistently breaking content, stories, quests and currencies, trading the quality and consistency of the game for lower entrance bar, it's the strategy old MMO use when they realize the hardcore playerbase is just not there anymore, we're only 3 weeks into the season, go check the playercount yourself, it's ugly Most importantly for the supposed new lights this is not really going to take any weight out of your shoulder, if they want to make your life easier they reduce the cost form 25 to 5, instead a whole eco system is abolished so now instead of shards you get capped by glimmer, you will be flying to complete heroic public events, don't fool yourself into believing Bungie wants your playtime to drop

I didn't even think about it till I read your post, I get more Legendary Shards from playing the game than I get Engrams from vendors, in the time it takes to get 5 Engrams you could have at least 50 L-Shards, which is double the gain, especially since you need more rep to get engrams the higher your rank, the farm gets worse as you play.

Engram focusing sounds insane unless we get 1 engram per match or strike or something. A full rank reset gives you 3 weapon focuses? That’s ridiculous

My guess is they will start selling glimmer and engrams as a bundle in the eververse store. What they have determined is that the veteran players are not spending enough silver in the store as much as the new players. I love this game but not being loyal to those who paved the way for them, is not good business in my opinion.

This literally is the nail in the coffin. Bungie wont let you have too much of anything it. They hated it when we could farm GMs so they stopped that by screwing GMS over, making the easy ones harder for players. making sure that your capped to the hilt or nerfed to the hilt.' Making sure that the hide spots were taken so you couldn't even cheat at it. Changing the whole element of the game to screw players over. They should be grateful that we are playing on there damn game and not call of duty. THIS IS A GAME, that people pay for, they pay money to bungie, most players will play destiny to kick back from the real world and take a load off, and to enjoy it. But the enjoyment has gone out of the game, for me personally it was battlefields in strikes, it was changing the iron banner over, when control should of stayed always, crucible control should of never of been removed when iron banner was on, its force feeding players. They wrecked trials by changing the game modes, Like all PVP modes suck now cos it all based on taking one area and you get people fighting over areas by slamming wells or titan bubbles down, has that what this game has become???? like seriously. That's not fun, its stressful. They took the pinnacle grind out of the game, why?? its always been there? I think it always gave the game meaning too, now in everything it seems like the grind has gone out of the game. why is bungie focusing on the wrong elements of the game. This game is truly amazing, the planets and places are amazing, the ideas, the campaigns are amazing. but it would be so much more... it lacks a purpose for people who are really into this game. Like on each planet guns and loot should change, game goals have to be set, its a looter shooter, but the loot isn't changing. I really wouldn't care if they brought sunsetting back as long as you could craft the good guns in the game and keep them to your own preference as long as they could bring new good loot. The game outriders was on to a good thing, they copied the elements of Destiny and tried to take it once step further, they brought in new levels of exotics, like different colours. with amazing designs. FOCUS ON THE LOOT BUNGIE, stop wrecking the damn elements of the game, all people wanna do is kick back and have some fun in dark times. You keep saying sorry to players and then you do all this? ok vent over.
