Today I spent about 7 hours grinding out the new dungeon solo to try and get the clear for "Alone in the Deep
Awarded for completing the Ghosts of the Deep dungeon solo in a single session." I got to 50% of the final boss and my game crashed.
It is actually INSANELY ridiculous that this progress isn't counted for and you need to now restart the whole solo try, even when something COMPLETELY out of your own control happens EG the game crashes.
This definitely needs to change.

It was probably all the ammo at 7hrs worth of playing accumulated. Too much will crash the memory these areas aren't designed to have someone in 1 instance for that long

What class were you?

1 ReplyDungeons shouldn't take several hours to do solo. It's just way too much for the average gamer. Less than 2% of the player base will accomplish this. I challenge someone on the Bunghole staff to accomplish this feat and stream it. Hope they get kicked right before the boss dies.

That is brutal. Ghosts of the Deep and Spire of the Watcher have both been tough solo. Keep up the work, and I recommend you try other dungeons and build confidence.

That’s really painful I had a similar thing happen too but keep grinding you’ll get it eventually

2 RepliesDude, I hate to be that guy, but 7 hours just attempting to solo the dungeon is crazy…. Just checking your dungeon report shows that you haven’t actually soloed another dungeon before, maybe try the others before this one. GotD is currently being heralded as a horrible solo experience. And yes, while it sucks that you got booted, there’s nothing you can do about it.

That....hurts. I'm not gonna say anything other than condolences.
