It's the worst perk they have ever introduced to the game. It simultaneously benefitted both trolls and speedrunners, two of the most obnoxious types of player. I did an all-Warlock run of RoN for the triumph and everyone other than me traversed the place solely with Well skating, they were the most miserable bunch of players I've ever met. It's like they wanted to be doing anything other than play the game, so they find the most efficient way to play it as little as possible, without actually not playing. Most players who use it that I come seem to be the same way. The worst ones are the people who will fly to the next encounter, start it and immediately die, thus dragging everyone forward , irrespective of whether anyone had anything they wanted or needed to do in between i.e. chests, red-border puzzles.
